Very simply a nice hotel situated in the middle of all monuments that you wished to see in Rome. You only have to cross the round about from the termini station to get to this hotel. Its not modern but you have everything you need like hot water, dryer, wifi, lift & comfortable bed. Room that I stayed even had a cute balcony.Price very reasonable... More

Very nice affordable hotel. Staff was very helpful. They have sweet and also salty breakfast such as cheese and ham (which was perfect). The sweet croissants and cakes are very very sweet. One of the waiters was offering us each morning a cup of coffee. Of course they had coffee machine which could use hotel guests, but he made the... More

Nice hotel, staff was very friendly and the room was okay. Clean, the shower was relatively good. Pillows were not that good. Breakfast was nice, suited our needs perfectly. We walked to every part of the city centre, nice location. Absolutely no need for bus or cab.

This hotel can be walked from Termini station which for us was an attraction. Also we paid a very reasonable price for a limousine style Mercedes private car to the airport at the end of our stay. Ask Alberto at the desk, as you can do for anything else about Roma. This is the second time that we have stayed... More

I don't recommend this Hotel, the breakfast was poor and the old man at the kitchen was really unfriendly. WiFi wasn't working reliably, there were long periods without any connectivity. The bed was also a disaster - hard and pretty uncomfortable. I will never stay there again.

A very adequate hotel in a great central location. Breakfast was very good and there were plenty of nearby restaurants. The room was ok, with ensuite bathroom, all in need of a bit of updating and I was disappointed not to have a balcony after reading other reviews here. Generally we were very happy with this hotel and would stay... More

This is an older hotel that shows some wear. While our room was simple, it was clean, comfortable and our experience there was very nice. The location is great, very safe to walk around and convenient to everything, including many wonderful restaurants. The bus/train station is an easy walk and local buses are easy and very convenient The breakfast is... More

We stayed here for 7 days in October 2015. The hotel was very clean with very helpful staff. Breakfast was very good. Room wasn't big but we had a room with balcony, clean bathroom- everything we needed was okay. The location was perfect - 2 minutes to Piazza Della Repubblica and 6-7 minutes to Termini station, close to restaurants, shops... More

On arrival, front desk said they overbooked,"You need to move right away!"I was being sympathetic/did not argue..Next AM asked when he wanted me to move. He screamed, "It's TOO LATE!!!" Huh?? Never told me when to move. But MY room still wasn't ready.Bedspread/drapes=filthy, carpets=stained/faded.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
