Our fourth stay at the Trianon Borgo Pio Residence property. The only place I will stay while in Rome. Location and staff are fantastic. Clean and quiet and within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, metro and St Peters.

I have stayed countless time at Borgo Pio. This last time, it was 18 of us divided into 3 augustus apartments. The apartments are clean, remodeled and really spacious. The kitchenette is amazing because you actually have space to have breakfast int he house. There is a Carrefour express right around the corner which is great. The Vatican is only... More

The apartments are spacious stylish and well equipped. We travelled as a group of two single parent families and had two adjoining apartments. The accommodation was ideal. Comfortable, clean and very well located. Close to the Vatican but also just a step from the river into the heart of Rome. Kitchen facilities were good. The only negative really that in... More

Our family of five just returning from a week in Roma, and this hotel certainly made our visit more pleasant. We had a three bedroom and two bath apartment with a full kitchen, which gave us plenty of space to relax. Our windows looked out onto a beautiful piazza and a quiet street. The location was prefect for us, a... More

Amazing spot close to Everthing you may want to see. Great location, safe and apartment style. Staff was always ready to assist and very helpful. Vatican is few blocks away. Museums are very close, food and icecream shops close to the hotel.

Cant say enough good things about this place. Amazing location in the Borgo Pio neighborhood, which itself has the feel of being in a small village...yet is steps away from the Vatican, St. Peter's, etc. Huge apartments with all amenities on site...full kitchens, washer and dryer downstairs, wifi, and very nice and quiet atmosphere. Very affordable as well! highly recommended

Stayed here with my girlfriend for 4 days. The hotel is kind of hidden. You will enjoy the mix of European flair and modern amenities in your room. The large wooden doors and Harry potter like key was really unique. And they had small cute elevators for luggage. We were on the first floor and didn't really need the small... More

I'm really late with this review - but last year my son and i spent a week at this hotel. I can't say enough good things about it. The location is great - it's on a quiet street about a 10 minute walk from St. Peter's Square and around the corner from a great side street filled with delis and... More

Thank you Trianon Borgo Pio for an amazing experience in Rome! The apartment was well appointed near Vatican City and within walking distance to many major attractions in Rome. The apartment was very very nice, clean, comfortable beds and perfect for my family of 5. There is a small gym on the bottom floor and paid laundry facilities both of... More

Staying in Vatican / Borgo

Neighborhood Profile
Vatican / Borgo
Frocked priests, colorful Swiss Guards, insistent souvenir shop owners, flag-waving tour guides, and pilgrims from around the world. This is the Vatican and Borgo, Rome's most recognized neighborhood which acts as Vatican City's front yard. Aside from the souvenir boutiques and a few food spots, the only business conducted here is papal. In the daytime, the tiny medieval sector bustles with holy activity, as visitors vie for elbow room, or stand in line for a visit. Once the sun sets, the neighborhood is transformed into a quiet and picturesque hamlet.
