I will start with the good parts. The lobby manager and the girl in the dining room were great. They really were helpful and kind. So thank you guys. Placement of the hotel is also good and offers quick reach on lots of interest points. But then - the room had absolutely no place to store things. No closet, no... More

The hotel is in a good area. You can go on foot from termini at the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. My room was in a different building from the reception but it was nice and clean. Wi-fi worked fine, breakfast was good but mainly sweet things.Totally worth it for the price.

Our stay was amazing. Staff were really nice and friendly. Room are small, but cosy. And it looks good. Location of hotel is near to the metro and there goes buses, so it's easy to get to city centre and by walk. They give you a free map! Breakfast isn't bad, but we went only once, we better eat in... The room was nice, clean towels every second days, small balcony with pretty view, staff was ok, good localization, delicious pizza (Pinsa) and real Italian coffe, just around the corner. Close to termini. Recommended!

The hotel was okay. Location isn't too bad and you can jump the number 62 bus into the centre and it only takes 5 minutes. The room was quite dark and the shower wasn't the best but on holiday you're only there to sleep and clean so can't complain considering the price.

The hotel is located centrally, has nice rooms, is clean and well-maintained. The staff is very well behaved and supportive and co-operative. The only problem is that the elevator is very small (for 3 persons only) and very slow.

This was our second time at Hotel Sallustio. We had a very nice stay, and great service. We were able to check-in early, and even had a room upgrade since it was our second stay there. Walkable distance from major sights, safe area and great cheap restaurants around. The room are much nicer than they appear on pictures, I would... More

When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist gave us a room with a matrimonial bed while we booked 2 single beds. We came back down to the reception to mention what we have booked was 2 single beds and he gave us the key of a room (matrimonial bed + 2 single beds). He explained he didn't have any... More

This is a low budget hotel so don't expect anything fancy. But the room was nothing like the ones you see on the pictures-MUCH NICER! It was very clean, we got clean towels everyday and our bed was also made everyday. The breakfast consists of sweet things only sadly. And the wifi signal was not the best. But other than... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
