We stayed 3 nights and opted for Portrait Roma as we wanted a central, upmarket venue. It delivers. The charming staff are a delight and full of ideas for how to make the most of your stay. They seem genuinely interested in their guests and are a credit to the hotel . Rooms are spacious and very well equipped with... More

We stayed 3 nights with at the Portrait Roma. It was a superlative experience. Starting with the pre arrival communication and through to our departure the staff (Alex, Francesca, Simone, Thomas) was superb. They were attentive, conscientious, friendly and took our well-being and satisfaction very personally. Upon an early morning arrival from the U.S. we were offered a room to... More

The Portrait Suites in Rome is a wonderful small experience in Rome. We felt like we were coming home, although this was our first visit. Small suite hotel located a block from the Spanish steps in the middle of the prime shopping area. The rooms are beautifully and tastefully done. With not a detail overlooked. I might add an I... This is a boutique hotel with only 14 rooms in the heart of Rome. The Spanish steps are right outside your door. The service was superb, the room was brilliantly appointed and the location was unbeatable. We ate breakfast every morning on the rooftop terrace overlooking the entire city. Spectacular.

In a prime position in the heart of Rome, the Portrait is close to perfect. The room design, the finishes, the roof top bar and the Ferragamo products all contribute to one of the great hotel experiences in the world. Pure joy.

We arrived for three nights after staying in their brand new sister property, Portrait Firenze and were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was impressive. We were upgraded to a balcony suite, which was very much appreciated (along with the Prosecco and chocolates). The suite was very well appointed and very comfortable. Maid service was... More

A very trendy, intimate boutique hotel. Hardware in excellent condition. Service is great; very attentive. Only downside is no hotel gym; they do provide dumbbells in the room but it is still a bit strange working out in the room. Nevertheless, it is far better than the other choices in Rome, which tend to be run-down.

This was my first trip to Rome as a guest of my son's family and the portrait Roma was the perfect place from which to see the Central area of the city. From the moment of welcome, the entire staff treated us like family/royalty. The room was comfortable, spacious and every conceivable amenity was available. I loved everything about it.... More
