After a phenomenal stay at Hotel Lungarno in Florence we decided on another Ferragamo hotel in Rome - Portrait Roma. And we were not disappointed!! The location couldn't be better. We loved our room. The views from the rooftop terrace were awesome and breakfast there was a joy. Good food and great conversation. The staff knocked themselves out to make... More

Me and my husband stayed here for 3 nights in April and it was truly one of the best hotels we have stayed in. From the minute you walk through the door you are made to feel very welcome in a relaxed atmosphere and the staff are so warm and helpful. Our room was a deluxe studio and was out... More

We stayed at the Portrait Roma for 4 nights. Everything was perfect. From the moment we entered, we were treated like a guest in someone's home. First, we were invited into a comfortable sitting area where we discussed our vacation plans while sipping cappuccinos. Then we were brought to our room, which was spacious, modern and well equipped with a... More

This is a small gem in the heart of Rome!! It's the best hotel boutique I ever stayed. The rooms are very comfortable, the location cannot be better, and the courtesy and warmth of the staff is overwhelming! All the amenities are Ferragamo! What a treat!! We traveled and stayed here in Febuary, and can only say positive things about this hotel. The staff were always helpful during our 5 days there, the breakfasts were excellent and the location is perfect. Both of us liked every aspect of the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

Located just two blocks from the Spanish Steps, but the area is pedestrianised and very quiet at night. Warm and friendly welcome from very helpful staff. Beautifully-appointed room. Breakfast and cocktails on the roof terrace with great views over the city.

Staying in Campo Marzio

Neighborhood Profile
Campo Marzio
From its original role as ancient army training fields to its present-day identity as one of the city’s most desirable neighborhoods, the Campo Marzio is the best place to get lost in Rome. Gorgeous Renaissance and Baroque palazzos line the streets, and are filled with enticing boutiques and food shops. By day, Rome’s best-dressed denizens criss-cross its streets in a fashionable parade of errands, occasionally pausing to look fabulous in gorgeous piazzas like San Lorenzo in Lucina. Campo Marzio can be a bit of a sleeper after aperitivi hour (9pm), so visit by day and experience the pulse of daytime Rome.
