Dear team, My husband and I just returned from what was simply an absolutely wonderful and completely unforgettable long weekend break with you at Villa Spalletti. The break was to celebrate my 40th birthday and had been planned by my husband over a long period of time as a surprise for me ; as such he had high hopes for... More

My wife and I and our two kids (ages 16 and 10) spent 4 fantastic nights here over spring break. We had two beautiful adjoining rooms in the main building, but the real draw here is the common spaces. Every morning, we lingered over breakfast in the garden oasis, and every evening, we came back and sat in one of... More

Very large villa converted into a hotel. Beautifully appointed in the rooms and throughout the hotel. Excellent staff/service. Buffet breakfast is outstanding. Good location on a quite side street. Not very far from the Spanish steps.

Our party of 4 stayed at the Villa Spalletti in a Garden Suite and Deluxe Room just before Christmas. The hotel is an absolute gem in a quiet yet central location (walking decent to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Colleseum etc...). The building is beautiful, and grounds well tended. The hotel arranged for an airport transfer - very professional and... More

Rome was the final leg of our italian trip and we booked this hotel for our family because they have 2 garden suites which can sleep a larger group. Our room had a master bedroom, a small single bedroom and a pullout couch as well as small kitchen and LARGE lovely terrace. My husband and I both thought it would... More

No need for a lengthy review. This amazing hotel can be summed up in one word. Perfection. All quality hotels offer comfortable beds, good sized rooms, well equipped bathrooms etc. What makes the Spalletti so special, apart from the sheer beauty of the place, is the attention to detail and the genuine desire of the staff to do everything in... This hotel really does get it right in every way. I feel very lucky to have been able to spend a week here in February. The staff are impeccable. They indulged my pitiful Italian with good humour, the focus on customer service is in my opinion optimal. By this I mean they can't do enough for you when you want... More

My 4 nights at thevilla were absolutely amazing! The beautiful and elegant surroundings and service were above my expectations. From the moment you enter the door, you are treated royally. The location is center of Rome. They even made a cake for my birthday. I cannot wait to make a return visit.

Oh, please! Sharing a drink by one of the two fires in the beautiful living rooms with our friends after our night on the town, then retiring to our beautiful rooms. It doesn't get any better. The first of 6 nights we arrived tired and decided to not go out. The Villa has introduced dining, which is pretty simple fare.... More

The Vila Spalletti Trivelli is a wonderful place to stay while traveling in Rome. The location in the heart of the city is excellent; it is very close to the major sites - Ancient City, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and the train station, too. The hotel itself is like a museum; the art work and sitting rooms are beautiful. The room... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
