We stayed here in a suite for three nights after an eleven-day cruise and it was just what the proverbial doctor ordered. This place is exquisite and oozes old worth wealth, elegance and class. Check in is customized, the gym and spa are out of this world, breakfast (included) is supreme and the 5-7 happy hour is never a disappointment.... More

We visited the Villa for a second time this August before our cruise out of Civitavecchia. We stayed two nights but this trip opted for the Garden Suite as our children were with us. The service was as on our first stay...impeccable. The villa and surrounding grounds are still lovely as ever, you really forget you are staying in the... More

From the minute we arrived at this historic beautiful 5star hotel and were greeted by Franco we were treated wonderfully. Our room was spacious and luxurious with a huge well appointed light and airy bathroom. The location was perfect, within walking distance to all the major sites. The rooms came with a free mini bar which would be refurbished daily. Breakfast was... More

This was our second stay at Villa Spalletti and I would not want to stay anywhere else in Rome. Upon check in we were upgraded to a beautiful suite on the corner overlooking the garden. What a nice surprise! Also we arrived early in the morning having just disembarked our cruise so we were very happy that the room was... More

We stayed at the villa in July for two nights. We had booked via booking.com and I then followed up with an email explaining it was our honeymoon and requesting a specific room I'd seen online. The hotel organised a private car from the airport - the driver was great, doing a tour guide job as he drove, and was... More

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. In all honesty it is more like staying in your own private house in the middle of Rome. We had a suite which was roomy and immaculately clean with amazing linen and towels etc. Location brilliant as a 5 minute walk to Trevi Fountain and yet you are in... More

My husband and I stayed here in early July 2015 for our honeymoon for 3 nights. It was expensive but we wanted something special for our honeymoon. Soon after it was booked, we were contacted by the hotel asking if we wanted picking up at the airport for £65 euros. We really appreciated this and were greeted by Fabio the... More

Flawless boutique hotel. We only had two nights here at the end of six weeks of travel, but it was by far the nicest hotel we stayed at in that time. We had a quiet and beautifully furnished 'romantic room' on the third floor with the most comfortable bed! It was hard to believe we were in the centre of... More

The hotel it's in a very convenient area in the city center, on a small quiet street surrounded by trees and flowers but as soon as you turned around the corner you were on a main boulevard full taxis and buses etc. Our suite had a nice view to a small park with tress, benches and statues. The room was... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
