We felt comfortable and safe at this hotel. Finding it can be a bit of a challenge, but one there you will find the service excellent. The desk clerk is happy to point out close local restaurants -- we tried two -- that are excellent and reasonably priced. If you wish to be near Termini station, stay here!

What makes this hotel exceptional is the staff. The hotel itself is neat, extremely clean and well situated to most of the historic sites in central Rome. I can't say enough about the pleasant and helpful desk staff, always willing to recommend a good restaurant close by, the best gelatto in Rome or to make a booking. They were exceptional.... More

This was our second stay at the hotel. We stayed here in 2006. When we made our reservation they sent an email which said, "Welcome back." That was a nice touch. They also welcomed us again at reception. They have maintained the hotel very well in the 8 years. It looked brand new. We love the location as it is... More

Friendly staff. We got hooked up with the VIP suite by some luck (it's the only room with a porch and it overlooks Rome) because it was our honeymoon. We only stayed one night but it was exactly how we wanted to end our overseas stay. The room has it's own private marble staircase to reach it, and has a... More

Stayed here late last month - October. Nice hotel in good location, about a 5 minute walk from Rome Termini station. On a quiet street, very clean small hotel. Front Desk Staff especially Doreen very helpful. We arrived in the morning from our cruise and though our room wasn't ready they offered us coffee in the lounge. When room done... More

Currently staying here for our week visit to Rome. Room is spotless and I'm picky. Free drinks in mini fridge. Spacious room and bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Large selection of breakfast items, hot and cold. Only complaint is the Wi Fi. Often times it does not stay connected. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed here a year ago and I am finally getting around to writing a review, sorry about that. We were in Italy for 20 days, Rome being our last stop. This hotel was in a great location for us to get around the city via train, bus or foot. It had some really cute local restaurants right around the... More

My husband and I have just returned from our 2nd stay. We returned to this hotel because of the excellent location all the major sites are easy to get to by foot or public transport. Walking distance from Termini & we hired a car too which was easy to collect & drop off at Termini. The staff are friendly, professional... More

We had a wonderful experience at Hotel Diocleziano. We have no complaints. Confortable room, nice bathroom and shower, clean, quiet, and close to a lot of attractions, as well as the train station, which adds to the ease of getting around the city and elsewhere. It had an excellent breafast, and very friendly, helpful staff. We would definitely consider staying... More

This hotel was a great experience for us and our 13month old. It was very conveniently located close to the train station add well as the hop on hop off bus, which we used to get around Rome. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. From the front desk to the kitchen staff, everyone was friendly and helpful.... More
