Central location and intimate - only some 35 rooms. This hotel is a quick 5 minute walk right across from Termini (central train and bus terminal). The hotel provides an excellent breakfast that will last you through the day. Personnel is very attentive and helpful. There is a free minibar in the room (3 bottles) refreshed daily. All in all... Hotel is nice, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. Breakfast staff was so friendly! After the first day they remembered me and my drink order. Typical continental buffet with hot and cold items. Fresh squeezed OJ, Italian coffee made to order. Free water and soft drinks in the mini-bar. Wi-fi was free but noticeably slow compared to the four other hotels... More

This hotel has great amenities and feels rather luxurious. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathtub was fantastic because it has the power jets in it, which make for a relaxing end to a nice long day. The location of the hotel, close to the termini station, is a great addition to all that it has to offer. The... More

This is a small hotel in a nice location (5 minute walk from train station). Very friendly staff. Our rate included a breakfast with a selection of hot and cold items that included scrambled eggs, hot ham and sausage as well as cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruits, cereals, and some other items. They also have free wi-fi that seemed to... More

Cannot fault the hotel at all. Initially chosen for its close proximity to Termini, it delivered in every way possible - friendly staff, lovely room, fantastic breakfast and great Wifi. On our last day, we had to check out by noon but weren't flying home until later that evening so spent the afternoon walking around an incredibly hot and sticky... More

Everything about this hotel was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly, it's very close to public transportation which is very convenient in Rome and the room was super clean and large. The WiFi was outstanding and the breakfast had a large array of choices. If in Rome, this is the hotel to book your stay.

We just completed a stay at this small boutique hotel and really enjoyed our time there. The location is ideal for exploring the city. It is a 5 minute walk to Termini station which is very convenient. Many here on TA have commented about "shady characters" arount Termini but I didnt find that to be the case. A few of... More

We checked out yesterday so it's really an updated feedback. Location of the hotel is very convenient, far enough from busy centre but close enough (5 min walking) to central station for easy access to all metro stations or other cities in Italy. This boutique hotel has wonderfull staff, so friendly and helpful. We met three different persons at receptions,... More

Our stay was wonderful! My husband, 18 year old daughter and I stayed here for 3 days before our cruise out of Rome. We all say we would definitely stay here again and have recommended this hotel to our family and friends. The desk staff and bell hops were exceptionally helpful and nice. The hotel and rooms were very clean... More

I can't say enough great things about this hotel. Doreen is so personable and welcoming. It started our stay off right. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bar was very small, but a great place to have a drink before going out. The air conditioning was amazing (which you don't always find in Europe). When... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
