We stayed here for our honeymoon during our trip to Rome and it was fantastic! When we checked in they upgraded our room and also left us a bottle of prosecco for our special occassion which was a very sweet gesture! Everyone at the hotel was beyond nice to us and very helpful, especially as first time travelers to Europe.... More

Stayed at this great hotel for 3 days after an eleven day cruise. We got off the boat at about 10:00 am so we we weren't sure if we'd be able to check in early after arriving at the hotel around noon. Not only were they able to check us in, they upgraded us to a two-bedroom apartment for free!... More

Had the opportunity to stay at this charming inn this past February for a week. Everything was perfect from check-in to check -out. During check in they presented all of us with home made tirimisu, best I've ever had. The rooms were beautifully appointed, the staff very attentive to your every need. The breakfast buffet is massive and truly amazing, also... More

From the booking onwards it felt as if I was a valued customer. I was sent a welcoming e-mail. I opted for a few room extras ( the anti pasta) - it was massive choice of meats and cheese- in future I would order bread with it! That with the bottle of Prosecco was a lovely start to the holiday.... More

Everything about our stay was five star. The friendly staff could not do enough for you and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast spread had everything you could possible want and the staff were also happy to cook anything you requested. Every aspect of this hotel was what you would expect from 5 star plus accommodation. We would recommend... More

Managed to escape the kids for a long weekend and ended up at The Inn. It was nothing short of perfect - from the airport pickup, through the friendliness of the staff (had some great conversations there) to the outstanding garden suite (with the largest bed in the universe included). Little touches like the breakfast room (with its ever present... More

Fantastic experience at a great hotel. Service, service, service. Everyone was friendly, kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Front desk staff couldn't do enough - whether booking a tour, giving directions, or finding a local market -- they met every need with warmth and efficiency. We had the fortune of staying in the two bedroom two bath apartment. An experience that can't... More

This hotel is a real gem. You can tell that the staff is great, as they greeted my party with a tiramisu when we checked in. The coolest part is that this hotel has ancient Roman ruins in it; it called the Cryptoporticus. As we were checking in we were able to tour the area, it was really cool; I... More

Excellent service. Unsurpassed knowledge. Every employee felt like a personal concierge. Location is perfect and truly Roman and Romantic :) Food, view, history, everything was at our fingertips. Walking the neighborhoods, finding the simple pleasures of a small local shop or the grandness of the Forum...there is no place better to stay! We will be back.

The name says it all: not a hotel, but a small luxury inn right in the center of Rome, a few steps from the Forum. Service is excellent, and so are the rooms, which I understand are different from one another. I stayed in two of them during the same week: an absolutely amazing two-floor apartment on the last floor... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
