Our first difficulty was finding the hotel as our cab dropped us at one end of the street and we had to lug our baggage and "find" the hotel. I use the word hotel loosely. This is a residential type building with buzzers to ring apartments. Our room was teeny-tiny, although acceptably decorated. The shower was so small you had... More

Rooms are clean and well-appointed but very small. Breakfast room is very cramped and food offered for breakfast was inadequate : they ran out of yoghurts and most of the fruit on offer on the 2nd day and did not get any more in for the rest of our 4 day stay ; the only bread on offer was rather... I always read the reviews before going somewhere and I have to remember that everyone's oppinions are different and viewed differently. This place reminded me of someone's guest room. The rooms were super small. My husband and I shared the one room from this previous pics (the one with the red room and red bed spread) but I did not... More

Great location within walking distance of everything we needed - less than 20min walk from Piazza Navona and Castel St Angelo. The area has some lovely shops and restuarants without being overly "touristy". Breakfast was the italian standard - yogurt, packaged toast, cheese, ham, yummy croissants - nothing brilliant, but what we needed to get the day started. The elevator... More

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days and were treated like we were family! Mr. Vicenzo, who sits at the front desk, I wanted to take back home with me! He and his staff are wonderful! Mr. & Mrs. Mix More

This place is great! Good Price, good location, wonderful staff and clean and decent rooms. It is just a few blocks off the river on the Vatican side (10-15 min walk to Vatican city) 10 minute walk to Piazza del Popolo and about a 30 min walk to the heart of Rome. 2 blocks from the subway, too! Perfect. Though... More

It is very charming with lots of character. We loved the decoration. the staff was very helpful. Vincenzo is a great, and so was the housekeper (I forgot her name). The breakfast was really good. It was advertised as continental breakfst, but we got a lot more than that. The croissants were baked fresh every morning and they also had... More

Ideally situated just off the main street & only a few blocks from the Vatican, Castel Sant Angelo etc. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely clean rooms. Small bathroom, tiny shower but adequate. Would stay there again if we return to Rome. Visit the Leonardo Da Vinci museum just off the Piazza de Popolo & do the crypt & catacombs tour. More
