We stayed at Il Tesoro for 3 nights in May. Due to metro maintenance works we had to search for alternative transport from Termini to reach the B&B. We arrived more than one hour late on a Thursday night (quite a challenge to find the right bus when unprepared) but our host remained very friendly. The B&B is 10m from... More

Just like the other review at first it was very hard to find. We were really angry because two out of the three days we stay at the B&B we didn't had hot water, wich I think is a must have. We didn't feel safe around the B&B plus the building is really old and damaged (the elevator too). Now... More

stayed here for 1 week whilst in rome, was quite hard to find the place at first but soon came to see that an underground train station was literally right outside the hotel which came in super handy! also the vatican was right around the corner from this place so spent plenty of time exploring the holy city. the room... Incredible service!! Very helpful and friendly. Perfect location - only meters from the metro, and if you like walking, you can reach a great deal of Rome from the b&b. Good breakfast - with great coffee! I can highly recommend the cappuccino. Very clean. The only negative thing: Our room had the faintest smell of old cigarettes.

Our 6 night stay in this small B&B was arranged by family members who live in Rome. It was a fantastic place to stay. The location is superb; literally within a stones throw of the Vatican. Though the B&B is on the 5th floor there is a lift. The owner, Giordano, is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and delivered... More

Booked this last minute and wasn't sure what to expect, especially given the shared bathroom. Have to say it wasn't an issue. It was always kept clean and it's only shared by 2 rooms so having to wait your turn was rarely an issue. I only met the owner once but he was lovely, and offered us a map of... More

We were the only ones staying on the first night. Room was huge, location was great, breakfast was amazing, view was incredible! and owner was so hospitable, even suggesting places on the map for us for dinner. Will come back when in Rome!

Everything was nice in il tesoro 1- Location was great, less than 10 minutes from the Vatican Museums, and just beside the metro station and very near to 2 bus stations. Also you could find a lot of restaurants, snack bars and cafes around you 2- The room was clean, neat, spacious and comfortable 3- Breakfast was great, in the... More

I just completed my 3rd stay to this bed and breakfast. There are so many benefits to this place. 1. It is a couple of steps away from the Metro station - very easy to get to all the attractions in Rome 2. The rooms are a very nice size. We stayed in the room with the attached bathroom, however,... When we arrived LATE to Rome after having endured a car breakdown, MR GIORDANO was there to receive us near the Il Tesoro B&B. Unfortunately there had been a breakdown of the Lift in the building and there was no way we could get to the Room we had booked on the fifth floor. Mr Giordano went "out of his... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
