Our family of 4 stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. We had room 214 for 4 people and it was clean and spacious. Breakfast was very nice with lots of choices from healthy fruit to bacon. The hotel was walking distance to almost everything. We waled almost everywhere, only took a taxi to Vatican and Trastevere. The... More

Having booked the hotel on the internet, it is always a bit of a gamble, and you are always hoping that it is good as it portrays itself. On arrival we found the room to be very spacious with a sofa, and very high ceilings, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was a combination of cold meats, salads, cereals &... More

We found this hotel to be clean, comfortable and very convenient for all the sites. We walked all the way to Vatican City and back on our first day (with breaks along the way). The staff were very helpful and patient. Good breakfast in the morning. Overall, excellent value for money.

Booked this hotel off the back of tripadvisor rating, we were not disappointed excellent location in the centre of Rome, excellent breakfast plenty of choice something for everyone no matter how fussy. Staff helpful special mention to Francesco who we thought very helpful. Wifi free but very patchy The decor is a little dated and to be honest the place... More

Positiv: Very good location (from Termini station ~10 min). The family room enough, and clean. Breakfast was good, but monotone (sometimes you must to wait to free table). Negativ: WiFi unusable!!! Porposal: If you want a tradinional italian restaurant, try it: Hosteria La Vacca 'Mbriaca - Via Urbana 29 (~10 min to hotel).

There is not much to see from the outside but glass sliding doors. Once inside the architecture is beautiful especially on the 2nd floor communal lounge. Rooms have high ceilings and are very clean. Bathrooms are solid marble. Bed is comfortable although a little hard. Rooms looking over the roads are a little noisy but you expect this from a... More

Great location - very convenient for all the sites. There are also plenty of places to eat nearby. We had a lovely large room, very comfortable if a bit warm. It was January though so I wouldn't have been very happy if it had been cold! The staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in January. The hotel was far from fully booked but we were given one of the smaller rooms with only a shower (no bath) on the side of the hotel without a lift. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, although 2 slats were missing from the foot end of the bed. The... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and whilst is was in a great location, Domus Romana is in need of a refurbishment if it wants to live up to its star rating. We were reading the reviews before we booked and had a giggle at people commenting how bad the wi fi was but in the end had to agree.... More

Stayed here just before christmas. Location was great being about 800m/10 mins walk from central station (Termini) This was ideal as we got the terravision bus from the airport to the station (4 euros). Plenty of restaurants and a mini market close by It is also in walking distance to most of the sights When you walk up to the... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
