Just returned from a week in Rome and our stay at the Domus Romeana Hotel. We were very pleased with the Hotel. We found that the front office staff was always very helpful with information and assistance. The room was clean and we thought they were a comfortable size. There was never any issues with the lack of hot water...

I went there with my two kids in December. The hotel is quite central, a bit hard to find it in the street (there is no good signege). The street was also very busy and small. It was very close to some little jewel by Borromini and Bernini that many turist in Rome just ignore.

This hotel has a very good location. We took the Leonardo express train from the Fiumicino Airport to the Termini train station and then walked 10min (maximum) to the hotel. We walket to most of the monuments and sights of Rome from this spot (Borghese gallery, Colosseum, St Peter's Basilica&Vatican museums, Sant'Angelo, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, the Spanish Steps...

I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone. The rates are at the lower end for Rome and the rooms are really nice.
We stayed for 3 nights in November in Room 209 (see pics). Huge room with a decent bathroom. 10 minute walk to Termini train station / Colosseum / Spanish Steps / Trevi Fountain (in different directions). Vatican...

The hotel is very well situated, near to the Repubblica in the centre of Rome and near to tube stations and the main train terminal (walking distance).
