My husband went for a three week vacation to Italy and part of our stay was at a fabulous hotel in central Rome called Domus Romana Hotel. There is so much character in the hotel, we felt like we went back in time. The service was exceptional, and the rooms were very clean, there is a beautiful courtyard with a... More

This is a lovely boutique hotel with incredibly spacious rooms (especially for Rome), but the location is not the best if you plan on seeing the sights of Rome and the beds are terribly uncomfortable and sparsely furnished (one sheet, very thin comforter and one pillow). The "twin" beds are actually sleeper chairs. The breakfast, however, is one of the... More

We just finished 4 nights in the hotel with a family of 5. We had 2 rooms which were very clean and very large. Free wifi, although we needed to sit in lounge area on our floor to access.. but it was nice and peaceful overlooking a courtyard with a fountain. Our one room probably could have used updating, projection... More

We just finished 3 night stay in the hotel, that provides what a person need while staying at Rome: clean and large room , clean and comfortable bathroom, cooking place (not used by us) , free wifi (not working in all the areas) and excellent breakfast. The hotel is minutes walking distance from restaurants, shops and sight seeing tours for... More

Our family of five stayed in June 2014. The rooms are really nice and spacious and the location is very convenient to get to main sites in central Rome. We had 2 large rooms with 6 double beds, so erally nice if you are travelling as a large family or group. The breakfast service is very good and you can... More

A very pleasant stay in this hotel. Room was large, clean and comfortable with an excellent bathroom. Breakfast was quite good - more fresh fruit would have made it better. Tables were promptly cleared and reset. Daniela (reception) was extremely helpful - answering questions, researching information and booking tickets.

Just returned from a 3 day stay at the Domus Romana Hotel for our visit to Rome from June 21st to June 24th, 2014. This is our 4th stay at the hotel(refer to our August 28, 2013 comments). Hotel continues to meet our all our expectations. This time we stayed in a one bedroom suite on the 2nd floor with... More

Staying at the Domus Romana was an extraordinary experience; the hotel is located in very good and and in a central location. The service is excellent, the rooms are spacious and clean and breakfast delicious and especially rich. We find it necessary to specifically praise the service we received from two receptionists Daniela and Francesco. Kindness, cuteness and quality of... More

Good located hotel just about ten minutes away from the Trevi Fountain. The reception area was adequate, however the staff could have been more pleasant in their manner. The bedroom was clean and comfortable and the fridge stocked with drinks at good prices and the Air Con was useful. Cups were provided, however there was no kettle. Although shampoo was... More
