Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Large rooms, air con! very clean! great breakfast. Only criticism was the bathroom; the shower set up was slightly quirky, the shower was hand held which is not very user friendly, had to step into a high sided bath to use the shower and then step through the shower screen without... This central hotel was ideal to explore all the famous sites and was conveniently situated for a good selection of restaurants. Our family room had a separate bedroom, balcony and basic cooking facilities - all an added bonus.

** Benefits - Room size is great! - We could take advantage of the kitchen inside the room to prepare our own dinner. - Breakfast was wonderful! Great variety and quality! ** Drawbacks - The room (407) had a very bad smell, even after daily cleaning. Even if we get used after 30 minutes, it was an unpleasant situation every... More

I stayed in Domus Romana Hotel last night. I went on a business trip to Rome and from the pictures and comments seemed a good hotel with a great location. Check in went perfect, but when I arrived in the room, it is far from being 4 stars for several reasons. The covers of the bed are dark old and... More

Close to the centre of Rome so all of the major attractions can be reached on foot without the need to use public transport. We had room 502 on the top floor which was comfortable enough with reasonable air conditioning and a small kitchen area but no balcony like some rooms. One lift in the building which is adequate for... More

Good location, good price, nice clean room. From a UK perspective tea\coffee facilities in the room would have been welcome but we never asked either. Staff were friendly and helpful, buffet breakfast good too.

My husband and I enjoyed a 5 night stay in this hotel. We stayed in room 212 (I think), it was overlooking a quiet side road and the bathroom overlooked the courtyard. We were able to leave the bathroom window open for ventilation without noise. The breakfast was very good, but we did not try the cooked as we are vegetarian and... More

We stayed here in April for 4 nights and it's a little hidden oasis in the busy city we had a balcony room overlooking the lovley fountain in the courtyard. All the top attractions are a 20 minite walk away. The hop on bus stops just on the main street some 100m away. Breakfast was simple buffet style but enough... More

I recently visited this hotel with three friends. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the rooms adequate if a little tired but the nicest feature was the courtyard. Breakfast could be eaten here and it was a lovely spot to sit quietly during the day away from the noise of the city.
