When we checked in we got the creeps. The rooms were dirty, stuffy and impossibly small and the corridors suffocatingly narrow. All this one could bear, were it not for the fact that the hotel felt desperately unsafe. Even though we had pre-paid, we immediately left and spent the night on a relative's sofa. This was a wise move as... more

This hotel is away from the main tourist areas of Rome, it's a short bus trip (bus stop across the road) or you can walk 10 mins to the metro which isn't as safe. The bus does stop at a certain time of night which can be restrictive if you don't want to catch a taxi. I think it's nice... more

After reading alot of the reviews on trip advisor and other websites, we decided to take our chances and book here. I really dont understand what all the fuss was on some of the poor reviews that this place got!!?? I have worked all my life in the hotel industry and I can tell you I would definatly recommend this... more

For a sight seeing tour the hotel was great, out of the city and if you were near the metro cheaper food. We got off before the recommended stop where there were some shops and a reasonable choice of restaurants where we paid about 12 Euros for a meal and a bottle of wine. . more

Maybe I've got low standards but I thought this place was fairly wonderful. It's a couple of miles out from the city centre, which was just the right distance for me. The rooms are well set back from the fantastically busy road so you don't hear the traffic at all. A lot of the complex is outdoors, creating some great... more

The room was very small and so was the elevator. Couldn't fit 2 people with 2 carry on bags on the elevator. The drain in the shower didn't drain, and after letting the front desk know, the drain was never fixed even after 4 nights there. The room was above a courtyard, and the it was very loud there, very... more

Great Hotel on the west side of Vatican City approx 2 miles. Need a Taxi to get into the City but not a problem and a great way to get your bearings and do some initial sightseeing. Hotel comfortable and clean, staff in reception very helpful, outside dinning drinking area very pleasant and lovely surroundings. Restaurant and bar a bit... more
