We loved the little hotel near the Vatican, literally across the street from the entrance to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. You don't have to wake up too early to line up for tickets since you are a few hundred feet away from the entrance! The lines get super long and in the hot sun, it is not fun!... more
