The place is located in the heart of the Trastevere, which is a great location with restaurants and coffee shops. It's very close to all the main attractions you want to visit in Rome. Just cross the river, and you are there. We travelled to Italy with a 5 yo kid, and stayed at the Arco del Lauro for 3... More

I spent two nights at Arco, and heartily concur with all of the other glowing reviews of this establishment. Like some other reviewers, I had a little trouble finding Arco upon arrival -- my taxi driver dropped me off in the wrong place -- but it's actually in a perfect, convenient (and scenic!) location once you get your bearings. As... More

We stayed 6 nights here. Our room was comfortable and very quiet at night. Breakfasts at the place around the corner were good, great espresso! The location in Trastevere is excellent, within walking distance of nearly everything you would want to see in Rome. A grteat neighbourhood full of places to eat, wonderful churches, ivy covered walls and cobbled narrow... More

What a wonderful find in the middle of Trastevere. Daniella and Lorenza are both so kind and helpful and made our stay very enjoyable. It is very clean and all the facilities of home - tea, coffee, even a small fridge with yoghurts etc free of charge! Computer access is also inclusive. The location is perfect and close to many... We stayed here recently and it`s the perfect area. The river is minutes away, and so much to discover,in spite of 2 previous visits to Rome. Lorenza and Daniella are so helpful, and we were given a list of the best places to eat a walk away. There's free internet, tea and coffee facilities, snacks etc., a very nice touch. We... More

I recommend Arco del Lauro to my friends for the atmosphere of well-appointed decor just right, not ostentatious, but there's so much more to tell. There's Danielle, office administrator, whose English is perfect and who has the patience of a saint when it comes to indulging tourist expectations and ideas. She is well informed and will advise you and takes... More

We stayed at Arco del Lauro for 6 nights in mid July 2011 and found the experience wonderful. The location is as good as you can get in our view. Just on the other side of the river from the old centre; close enough for easy accessibility to the sights but away from (mostly) the crowds. Plenty of great spots... More

After a day of walking around Rome and dodging scooters, the Arco del Lauro is the perfect place to return to. It's on a quiet cobblestone street in a great location--walkable to and from all of the sites as well as what seems to be the most happening part of the city at night. Lorenza and Daniela were so hospitable,... More

Arco dell'Auro is a lovely B&B that occupies an old palace in Rome. Four of us stayed in one of their rooms and there was plenty of room for us. The B&B is small and personable, and the staff is friendly and helpful to guests. We highly recommend staying here! More

My husband and I recently returned from a one week stay at Arco del Lauro - September, 2011. Lorenza and Daniella were helpful even before our trip began; they spoke English very well and returned our calls and emails in a prompt fashion. Upon arrival, Daniella greeted us and gave us excellent travel directions to the major sites via walking... More
