We've been for the third time in italy and for the first time we have chosen B&B in every place we visit (Florence, Rome ,Venice and 5 Terre). Our stay in Rome has been the longer one and better one. We choose Arco del Lauro visiting Tripadvisor and we may say, it is very reliable: this B&B is exactly what... more

We were back at Arco del Lauro, this month for 5 nights. This time I have invited my daughter and my oldest grandson to Rome. As others have said it was like coming back to friends or coming back home. The " acueil "is so good, the location so convenient and the new quadruple room that was assigned to us was... more

Arco Del Lauro had everything one would need for a comfortable, reasonably priced stay in the offbeat section of Rome, Trastevere. Daniela and Lorenza were so helpful and cheery. I especially loved the electric kettle outside our room so I could make tea at night when we returned weary to our room. The room was quiet and comfortable with an... more

Simple room but well maintained and a fairly modern, clean bathroom. The location is right in the middle of Trastevere which is good area to be in. There are a number of great restaurants for dinner nearby. You're also 5 minutes from the riverside market/lounge that occurs during the summer months - this is a great hangout at night. 20 minute... more

As travellers, we like independence, flexibilty, freedom, convenience, simplicity, cleanliness, peace and quiet and our hosts to be friendly - and, all of this at an affordable and reasonable price. Arco del Lauro met all of these requirements. It is located in walking distance of the majority of sights and the tram if your feet can't make it any more... more

This is a delightful B&B tucked away in a quaint street in Trastevere over the Tiber River. It is ideally located, far enough away from the tourist hustle and bustle but close enough to walk to all the main attractions in Rome. (The Vatican was the longest walk at around 25 minutes.) We are a family of 2 adults and... more

We stayed athe Arco del Lauro for four nights and it was the perfect location. Everything was easily accessible. I stayed in a solo room the first night and it was perfect; then my husband and daughter joined for another four nights. The rooms were fine, but the second room the main bed was rock hard. I like a firm... more

This B&B is in the perfect location! It’s in a very quite neighborhood, with very nice restaurants and fantastic architecture. Just one block away, the main road is bustling with activity and nightlife. The center of Rome can be reached by taking one of three bridges – all the sites are within walking distance - Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish... more

If you are interested in finding a peaceful, comfortable room in the most charming of neighborhoods, this is it. Trastevere is just an amazing home base location. It is super charming and all of the best restaurants are in this neighborhood. After a long day touring the city, it was nice to have amazing dining experience every night within a... more
