From where to begin..food is awful:ham cut as you can look through it, cheese, and bread. That is breakfast. Zero! Can you believe that there you DON't HAVE WIFI in your room?!? Accomodation not to mention, old as in time of Soviet Union. NOT to recomend!

This is a cozy three-star hotel. The staff is wonderful, friendly and pleasant. The rooms are small, but very clean and pleasant. The hotel itself is a good choice for lodging, but no other facilities. Breakfast was decent, but nothing more than that. The hotel is located near Termini Station and the Square of the Republic and has an excellent... More

Good 3 star hotel. Clean and conveniently located. Admittedly I was not impressed at how many students were put into 1 room, something that was sprang on us last minute, but it worked out. No shower curtains but wet room floors, though as bathrooms are small it's a little irritating. All in all it served us well for 3 nights.

This accommodation is located very close to the Termini Station, and is is within close distance to metro stations. Not that you need them as you can walk pretty much everywhere in Rome. Breakfast was of a good continental breakfast, but we didn't eat here for lunch or dinner. The rooms were good, but basic. Little bit small if being... More

Not exactly "value for money" but it was clean and quiet... Breakfast was small but good and the staff doesn't speak good english but you can understand each other.. However, its location is fantastic, close to termini,a metro station(castro pretorio),bus stations and you can easily walk from there to the city center.. No wifi..

This is not a typical tourist hotel, but I have stayed here on several occasions and I like it. The neighborhood probably seems a bit "sketchy" to most folks, but I always felt safe. The street itself is very quiet and the rooms are comfortable. Of course, this is the center of Rome, so the rooms and bathrooms are small,... More

The room was tiny for the amount of people staying in it. I went on a school trip so Ii wasn't expecting much but this was disappointing. The bath did not drain away so we had a bath of water sitting there all day and all night which meant nobody else could have a shower. The air conditioning was broken... More

The Floridia is in an ideal location. Rooms are an acceptable size and generally clean. The staff were quite helpful and able to solve any problems that presented themselves. However, a drain problem made the bathrooms smell, also some rooms were extremely hot (heating on in April!) the inconsistency between rooms made it unfair that some students/staff suffered with significantly... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
