Me and my boyfriend recently stayed 7 nights in a private suite in The Yellow and it was a lot better than we had expected. Some of the pictures online don't really live up to the quality of the room. Our room was only on the first floor so no long tiring trips upstairs; the room had air conditioning, a... More

I recently stayed in a private twin room with a friend in the Yellow. The hostel reception is across from the hostel itself, this didn't serve to be a problem for us as we only used the reception to check in and out. The hostel has a bar which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a lot to choose... More

My friend and I booked quite in advance a private 4 bed female dorm with ensuite for 3 nights in July. Upon booking the hostel we read on their website about the aircon, kitchen facilities, free wifi etc etc so thought we had a good deal. However different story upon arriving. PROS: good location, right near termini train station and... More

This was our first stop in Europe and my first experience at a hostel and all things considered for what a hostel is supposed to be it was a very enjoyable experience. The place had a lot of character and super helpful/pleasant staff. We got a private room with AC which is CRUTIAL for July. Totally worth the extra money... More

This hostel was booked by my 18 year old daughter who was travelling on her own for the first time with another girl. When they arrived at the hostel their booking was honoured but my daughter found herself, on her own, in a room with five other lads who she did not know on the fifth floor. The room was... More

Really great place apart from the no air con in the rooms. Instead you get a fan which really does nothing and it is so so hot in rome alone and you just cook in the rooms! Please sort it out or lower the price for rooms if you can't provide air con ...

As far as hostels go, this one is good. Air conditioning is wonderful (and needed in Rome) and is only a few min walk from the Metro. The rooms are clean and the staff are all very friendly and will not hesitate to help you out. It does get a bit noisy in the night but that is to be... More

There is a lot that is great about this hostel, and there are a few downsides. I'll start by saying the staff are very welcoming and great with recommendations, they told us the good spots for eating etc. The 4 bed dorm we stayed in was very clean and came with safe's we could store valuables in, as well as... over priced for what you get. stayed in a 8 person dorm, room was stuffy and airless even with the window wide open on a cool night. also having the window open let in the loud noise from the downstairs bar. the showers were bearable. hostel staff were rude and hardly helpful. asking advice/information on day trips and various attractions... Hey there, thanks for taking the time to review us, we appreciate the time it takes and the contirbution you make to the travelling community. We're unhappy to hear you didn't enjoy your time at the hostel, but we hope you enjoyed Rome all the same. We also don't have an 8bed dorm so we're a little confused by that... More

Great location, really helpful staff, lovely rooms and a good breakfast, lifts to rooms great restaurants nearby easy walking distance to Termini train station and bus centre. Rooms are spacious and excellent showers. If there is a problem there is no early choice for breakfast if you are leaving before 7.30am
