Odd place, with lobby/check-in desk upstairs on first floor. Room is, well, just a room. No frills. Bed, sheets, covers. And a bathroom. Clean and safe, I'd recommend this place and would stay here again. No breakfast or coffee. Best thing about it: the patio garden on the fourth floor. Very relaxing spot in the morning and evenings to unwind.... More

This hotel was in the perfect location for the Vatican. If you are planning on going reserve your spot ahead of time so you don't have to wait in line to buy tickets and get in. It was a bit far from other sights in Rome, but we found the buses and subways easy to navigate and we managed to... More

We stayed at the Adriatic hotel for 8 nights in May. The location was excellent and we were able to walk to everything in the historic centre of Rome. I had emailed the hotel prior to our arrival to request a spacious room due to the length of our stay as well as a large bed. They were most accommodating.... More

Staff spoke excellent English, but were not overly knowledgeable about attractions. Front desk does not have a computer to assist you with questions and plans. We found an information booth next to the Castle Saint Angelo, a few blocks from the hotel (2 days into our stay) which ended up being very helpful. We highly recommend speaking with someone knowledgeable... More

Just spent 7 days in the city of Rome (would recommend 4-5 days max, as the last two days were a bit boring after we had seen all the sights). Amazing time. Sights were glorious, but the food was a let down. Hotel check in and check out was very smooth. Air con is 10 euro per night, and I... More

Stayed in Rome for 3 nights at Adriatic Hotel (EUR$65 plus service tax). Location is perfect (5 mins walk to Vatican city) and was a blessing when we timed out Vatican city day with the Rome transportation strike (occurs 2-3 times a month - recommend checking for planned strikes before you leave for Rome). We walked into the museum at... More

As the title said, chipped furniture, broken tvs, had to pay 40Euro for air con (which we declined!) Staff were not very polite and not very helpful. Nice roof terrace though. and they have WiFi. There are definitely better value places though. If you do stay round about here there is a lovely wee cobbled street with lots of restaurants... More

this is probably the worse hotel ive been to in my life. ive travelled elsewhere on a budget but the hotels weve been to were not as horrible as this. i know weve paid so little for this hotel but such wasnt the value we got from our hotel in spain, which was so much more beautiful. first up, the... We're sorry you haven't enjoyed your stay but also we do know what to say : - 2-star hotels do not provide as many features , like A/C , as higher rated hotels , but our hotel was the first in Rome to offer free Wi-Fi (and Internet speed depends on providers , it's not up to hotels!) while some... We stayed here for our honeymoon, and absolutely loved it. We were in Rome for 10 days, and then went to the Amalfi Coast for 7 days. Our hotel in Amalfi was rated 4 stars, and the Adriatic was WAY better. Fantastic location, as it is within walking distance of so many things. No issues at all, and the staff... More
