The hotel is at a great location for exploring the city, nearby the Termini station but not in an unpleasant street. The staff is very very friendly and speaks good english! I asked for a quiet room, so we had a room on the 3rd floor at the back of the hotel. The only sound you heard where airco's and... More

I have spent there two nights, it was a short holiday. This hotel is very close to the main station (~10min by regular walking speed), very close to many nice cafes, restaurants etc. It is a safe area for also 'women only' holidays. People at the hotel are helpful and kind. The rooms are not so large, my bathroom was... More

The location is unbeatable, 10 min walk from Termini main station will save you taking your luggage into the Roman transportation system, an efficient but highly congested experience. The area is full of restaurants, bars and gelati shops. Most of them are geared towards tourists. The room is nice, clean and quiet. The only downside is the bathroom as it... More

Stayed here one night, simply for a place to sleep before heading to the airport in the early am. It's a 5 min. walk from Roma Termini and located in a "just okay" area. Directly across from a restaurant that stayed pretty loud until midnight. The windows did not shut out the noise at all. Thank goodness for earplugs and... More

This hotel is a 600m walk from Termini Station where all the Rome bus tours commence their tours of the city. There is a lovely little bar directly out the front of the hotel with happy hour spanning from midday to 9pm! The room was large enough, had a private bathroom, and was clean. The only downside for us was... More

The location is optimal for the Termini train (and metro) station, and for the airport shuttle buses as well (the buses booked on Ryanair's and Wizzair's websites terminate at the Piazza Indipendenza, 3 minutes from the hotel). The staff is very kind and helpful. The services are OK, they represent a good value for money. However, the sleep quality is... More

The pros of staying at this hotel include good value rates, very clean, nice friendly staff and in a good central location with nice restaurants right on the doorstep. We chose this hotel as we were only in Rome for an overnight before our flight back and it seemed to have good reviews. It was about a 15-minute walk from Termini. Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
