We had a very enjoyable stay here, also known as Albergo Sileo. It's literally just around the corner from the main train station, which made it great for dropping off/ picking up our bags. The owners are very, very sweet- don't speak a lot of english, but enough to make do! We stayed in the single the first night (the... more

Stayed here for four nights in early May. The owners were lovely and made us feel right at home. The room was good and what we expected for this price in Rome. My one issue was that on check out the hotel indicated that they only accepted cash as payment which caused a major issue for myself. No where on... more

I learned about the Hotel Sileo from Rick Steve's travel book about the special rate for short evening stays. We were catching the train in the morning and the Termini is not more than a block and a half away. We were delighted with the accomodations. Alessandro and his wife speak only Italian but smiles and hand motions go a... more

My wife and I read about the Sileo's unusual half-day accommodations in Rick Steve's book and thought, "why not?". We weren't disappointed. The room was not what I would call large, but very clean. And talk about easy to find, only a few minutes from the Termini Station. The owners were very friendly and helpful. For travel on a budget,... more

I stayed here in a triple room for five nights during the end of June 2007 as the first destination of a backpacking trip through Italy and France. The reason I am giving this hotel 5/5 is that it exceeded my expectations for a hotel in its price bracket and the ownership and staff were both exceedingly kind and accommodating.... more

In February we decided to go to Rome in October. In March I reserved 2 rooms in Hotel Sileo by email. They were kind in email, confirmed the reservation, and asked nothing like credit card number, etc. In the meantime I wrote to them once telling that our flying schedule changed, so arrival would be earlier. They wrote back immedaitely... more

Hotel Sileo was an ideal overnight stay prior to an early morning departure from Rome Termini station. We booked a triple room, happy to leave our suitcases and pay a discount to occupy the room after 7pm. As it turned out we were offered a bigger room and had daytime access for the same price. When our host didn't have... more

The Sileo is a very fine hotel for the price, we were 3 girls with each our bed, which is nice after a long flight. The daughter speaks english very well, nice location, very quiet and as clean as can be for an old hotel. Breakfast is typical for Europe not very much of anything but very good caffe latte.... more

My boyfriend and I had a mini European vacation for 2 weeks from July17-July31. It was our first time in Europe. We looked for various budget hotels in Rome on tripadvisor and settled on The Beehive but it was booked during the time we wanted to stay. Our alternative was Hotel Sileo, a suggestion from one of the numerous guidebooks... more
