We had two different experiences: First one we spent four nights at the Bangalow. First of all, we've had no big problems, just wii fi that hardly ever works.....and the location it is far from to everywhere (for to go to downtown you have to take one bus and one metro) and, also, the access to camping site is pitiful... During our week long city break to Rome, we spent 3 nights at Camping Village Roma, it was a nice change of scenery from the Hotel we had stayed in in the city centre. On arrival we had the pleasant surprise of being told that we were getting a free upgrade to the newly built superior bungalows. The room was... More

At the beginning of my Erasmus stay in Rome I stayed here for two nights while I was searching for an apartment. I spent the first night in a shared bungalow and the second in a shared "tent", which were both clean. The tent cost only 9 euros per night which is a price you won't find elsewhere in Rome.... More

After a month of travelling we were looking forward to staying further out of the busy city centre and this place was cheap which was a bonus. The campsite really made the trip for us and we loved it! We spent our first and last day sunbathing and chilling by the pool. The staff are unbelievably friendly and really made... More

For an outdoor "camping" style hostel, the bungalows were really clean, relatively large and super comfortable. Private bathrooms!!! I have heard otherwise about the tent situation, though, so I'd recommend just shelling out the extra $5 or whatever for a bungalow. It's a really beautiful space, almost resort like. The onsite supermarket is really helpful. Reception was not super helpful,... More

The campsite actually made the trip for me - we loved it! Rome was disappointing in a sense that everything was covered in scaffolding, but the camp made up for it. Everything is onsite and really cheap. Laundry, supermarket, bar and restaurant are great, the food was fantastic and the nightlife was so much fun. Wifi and linen are free... More

Clean, cheap, near bus stop, full of guys from all over the world. In a word: cool. I shared a bungalow with two guys. There are pool and warm jacuzzi open until 11 pm. It was 30' far from Roma centre. In September the reception is open 24h. Thank you!

This place has a charm of its own. It has all you need as well. Supermarket, Laundry, Restaurant & a nice pool with a resort-feel although it was not heated (I can't complaint). Dipped my tired feet in the Jacuzzi...it was refreshing and relaxing. To go to Rome, public transport are readily available - it gave me a glimpse of... More

As is Rome is not one of my favorite places to visit. Combine that with the worst accommodation ever and you have a nightmare. We have booked a tent (and I suppose what do you expect then!) because the chalets were 4x the price. We hade to share a bathroom with like 200 other people (proper camping stuff I tell... More
