Didnt know what to expect from the camping village but it was excellent. We booked a 'cabin' which had an ensuite, as we went in September it was very warm and although there was a fan we found it very hot so got a room with air conditoning and a fridge for just 5 euros more a night. The cabins... more

Me and my boyfriend chose to stay at this campsite because of the high prices of Rome hotels. We also wanted a pool because we had heard Rome is exceedingley hot in August. We had to book a twin room as they did have doubles, but it did have its own bathroom and airconditioning. We had low expectations as I... more

With budget airlines and relatively cheap travel to marvellous places like Rome my main reason for staying at a camping site is to keep the overall price of the trip down. By doing this I can afford to travel more widely and see more exciting places. I read intensely about the places I am going to visit before I go... more

We came here through a Busabout trip and opted for one of the cabins with a private ensuite. The cabin was clean and comfortable; the campsite was quiet at night; the staff throughout helpful and usually had a good grasp of English. All this for a bargain price. Like many campsites in Italy there was a restaurant/bar and supermarket on... more

I stayed in this camping site for 6 nights with my husband and a friend of ours. We enjoyed staying in a bungalow with private facility, no a/c. It does not locate in the centre of the city, but easy to access once you learn how to using bus 246 and 247. There is a bus from Fiumincino Airport to... more

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The facilities (pool, restaurant and bar) were great. It was very noisy at night - I had to use earplugs. We were starting a tour from here and reception really mucked us around, giving us wrong information so that we missed the start of our tour. But I don't know whether that was the... more

Website was misleading and had to take a bus to get there, as the shuttle wasn't working. Went with a group or I don't know if I would have made it there. I thought I'd booked a bungalo and got a tent. Didn't leave valuables in the room. It was nice. Weather was nice and warm. Luckily not too hot... more

I had a good holiday at the campsite. The staffs were friendly and nice. The bungalow where we lived was good, but there was a bit of dirt in the bungalow at arrival; some of the bed linen was wet and damp and the shower was not okay. I have difficulty with at regulate the water temperature in the shower. more

Camping Roma was OK for me and my husband. We had the 2/3 person bungalow for a week, and it was just fine for us, nice to have a private bathroom. Walls are thin, so you hear everything (especially the very large groups of teens who were staying around us and having a great time hanging out late at night... more

I would really struggle to find a positive comment about this place, but here goes, I made it back alive. This is the worst place I have ever been, noisy, unfriendly, miles from anywhere on a main road, dangerous, I had all my money stolen on the first day and I saw people get mugged on the bus, its inconvenient,... more
