So hot in Rome in summer so the pool was much appreciated! Good atmosphere and provided shuttles into town and Vatican! Air con was a little difficult to work but the rooms were nice. Shower was amazing and had a nice table outside the room. Nice staff at the restaurant and good cocktails

Recommended for backpackers, great facilities but their rooms are small (even for the chalets). Great place for group travelers. The supermarket was across the highway. But you also could find some things inside the hotel's minimarket. Bungalow rooms was not equipped with cooking sets (stove, pans, etc) and the chalets were equipped. The hotel's restaurant served great foods. The only... More

I stayed in a bungalow dorm, which fits 3 people in it. The atmosphere is very much a young party vibe, as a lot of Topdeck tour groups stay here. In the middle of summer, the air-conditioning and pool were much appreciated, and were the main reasons I chose to stay here over more centrally located hostels. The shower was... More

Yes, it's nice to stay somewhere with a pool when the city centre is (relatively) nearby. However, it's the kind of campsite that kids visit on their first holiday after leaving school. We booked a 'house tent' which in no way resembled a house. There was literally a bunk bed, a bed, two sockets and two lights. No mirror, nowhere... More

We stayed here for our Christmas holiday. The onsite shop was closed as it was out of season but there is a fairly large supermarket the other side of the road. The chalet we stayed in was basic but ideal. The kitchen lacked a microwave and a kettle would have been nice. There was a bus provided to the Vatican... More

We went in the winter, so we didn't really get to see the pool area in all its glory, but that was okay because the bar was fun! Not so close to the city center or public transport (really) but you get what you pay for! Not my favorite hostel in Europe but not the worst either!

Camping village Rome was the best experience. Not only does it have everything on site from a supermarket, pool, ATM and restaurant/bar, it also has a shuttle bus to the Vatican. It has a very young aroma surrounding it with the top deck tours present. Our bungalow was lovely, the aircon worked so well and had everything we needed. Internet... More

This is a tough review to write because we were so disappointed by Camping Village Roma. We had just come from Plus Florence and had an incredible experience on all fronts. We expected something similar when arriving to Roma and unfortunately that was not the case. ~ The staff were so rude and belittling. ~ The directions to get to... More

The staff at the bar were incredibly rude and disrespectful One of the beds was broken in our room when we checked in. Power went out to just our bungalow, it was fixed however as we were out the aircon was not resumed and so our room was ridiculously hot when we got back. The bungalow is not like any... More

Before you book, know that the major 18-35 tour groups (Topdeck/ Busabout) stop here so there will be a lot of young people around. In saying that, it was actually a staff member (or at least a member on one of the camp's security buggies) who kept us awake at 2am with very raucous conversation with a chalet next door.... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your detailed review on Tripadvisor. We are pleased to read that you enjoyed our facilities as the pool and the laundry. We regret any inconvenience caused by noise of groups of young people; unfortunately, our night watchman, often must try to calm the "liveliest". Thank you again for you suggestion, and we hope that you... More
