Only cons: food was better than the Venice affiliate and there was a nice bar/restaurant area and a pool. Firstly, the tent areas have no noise restrictions what so ever! We had choirs singing up until 11:30pm and people standing around talking loudly etc, generally being drunk. That was our first night. The second night was in cabins, no better... More

Having previously stayed at a couple of Plus Hostels (including Florence + Berlin) we decided to stick with the formula and go with this Plus Camping Roma. Obviously this is a slight variation on the Plus formula, and it wasn't the same luxury hostel we were accustomed to, however for what it was it was amazing and good value for... More

Its a great place to stay if you are on a budget, like me and my husband were at the time. There are great facilities on the camp site such as washing machines, pool, shops, restaurants, internet cafe, ect, but our chalet offered zero noise sound barriers. We may as well have slept under the stars - it was literally... More

I'm not sure why the last review experianced unfriendly staff as we didnt come across that at all during our 4 night stay. Had a tent which yes it was hot during the day but it is July so we didnt expect any less. The pool is an oasis during the day with good drinks and food. Shuttle to town... More

My partner and I have just spent the last three nights at this camping village for a base to visit Rome. It is quite far from Rome, however a shuttle service for 3 euros each takes you directly to the Vatican which was great. We stayed in a private tent that was so hot during the day you couldn't be... We used this place to start our charity moped ride from Rome back to the UK. Friendly english speeking staff. Basic but functional cabins. Shuttle buses to Rome. Clubhouse and restaurant. Supermarket across the road.

This site is a bit of a faff to get to, we got the train to Aurelia then walked for 15 minutes with our massive backpacks! There was a shuttle bus to metro stop Cipro near the Vatican for £ euro return which we used after that. Staff were all extremely friendly, the man who worked in the info centre... More

Me and my husband took a tour from London around western Europe, and this was one of my favorites place we stayed, well located, clean, more than one dining option, a large pool and also a laundry facility, you cant go wrong with this place. Its was very easy to get around rome from there. I highly recommend this village.

Camping Village Roma has unbeatable pricing and great facilities including an on campus restaurant, supermarket, pool, information desk etc. very impressed with our chalet, which had an ensuite, kitchen, veranda and air-con. It is a little out of the way but if you don't mind catching a quick bus and a train to get to the heart of Rome, then... More

My wife and I stayed here our last two nights in Rome. We had previously stayed at a B&B closer to the city for two nights. (See my other reviews.) This was one of the worst camp sites we've ever stayed at in the world due to the party all night teens with no supervision and a watchman that did... More
