Looking at the other reviews my feelings about this place are much the same. We went to Rome for 3 days and when you're on limited time in such a fab city you want everything on your doorstep. The Hotel Arcadia is not the place to stay to see the Rome you go to see. It's not the hotel's fault... more

Stayed at Arcadia for 1 night, it was a little too far out the centre, you needed to get a bus to metro which took 5/10 mins then the metro took 14 stops to get into central rome. The hotel itself was quite dirty outside, and there was a lot of litter from nearby supermarket. There was also quite a... more

If you are disabled avoid this like the plague. It is 2.5 k from the metro anagnina which is impossible to access by wheelchair. There is no lift and the metro is 5 flights down. The hotel is poorly presented the lift does not allow time to get a wheelchair in or out the room 209 was stark with only 1... more

We travelled to this hotel on the 22nd February 2009. We decided that the 80euro taxi transfer was too expensive so we travelled by train, the metro and taxi. It's a 15 min walk to the train station from Fiunicino or Da Vinci airport as it's known. Up and down escalators that don't work and we were carrying quite large... more

For the money this hotel is great. Outside the main city but handy for Ciampino Airport. The fantastic public transport system made it easy to go into the city each day. I was unlucky enough to have my purse stolen whilst on a bus in the city (I thought I had been careful - still haven't worked out how they... more

Where do I start?? We went to Rome for 3 nights and didn't realise that this hotel was so far from the city centre. We wasted so much time traveling to and from the hotel that we wasted so much time. The hotel itself is ok, it's very basic but clean. I found the bed extremely uncomfortable and the walls... more

If you are looking for a budget hotel, it's a safe choice. Clean and nice rooms with balconies, and nice service. The only drawback is that the closest metro station in a bus ride away, meaning that it can take 30-45 minutes to get into the city. Taxi from the airport can be expensive, and if you're on a budget... more

The first thing to consider about staying at the Arcadia is whether you really need to be there at all. The hotel is convenient only for the enormous Ericsson factory and the large ploughed field that are immediately adjacent. It's a very long way from anywhere else, along one of those streets that lack footpaths [sidewalks] for much of its... more

Nothing was good not the room not the food and the travel got to us. We travel a lot and is not fussy but this was not a nice experience.Do not be fooled by the bus stop that is close to the hotel you can stand and wait for the bus for up to 45min and in the heat it... more

The hotel is really far from the centre of Rome. PLEASE DO NOT BE MISLED BY THE WHOLE SHUTTLE THING IT IS A BIG JOKE AND A COMPLETE LIE THERE IS REALLY NO SUCH FACILITY (YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO CALL AND TELL IT TO COME AND THEN SEARCH FOR IT ALL OVER THE PLACE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE). The breakfast is also... more
