The location of this hotel is great - right between the spanish steps and the Trevi fountain and a fairly easy trip from Termini train station. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly and spoke very good English. However, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who is unfit or has heavy bags as there are several flights... more

I do not recommend this Hotel if you have luggage, or want to eat their breakfast. No matter how you count it, you go up 4 floors and walk all the way. No elevator, and no one to help you, it is a nightmare. Thank goodness our Cab driver wanted to make a little extra money and he carried our... more

The one and only good thing about this hotel is the location. Thats as far as I go with compliments. The major flaw with this hotel is the misleading information and services that are not provided but mentioned on their website. For example, we were lead to believe that we had a beautiul scenary but all we had were views... more

We are very unhappy that we reserved this hotel for weekend. We asked for picking up servise from airport and they send for us confirmation, but nobody was waiting for us, we were waiting in airport one hour, and then take taxi ourself. Nobody informed us that building of hotel is under construction, so entrance to hotel was terrible, we... more

We have just returned from a week at the Hotel Montecitorio. The plus things are that the bathroom was lovely - very spacious and with a spa shower (though no bath); there was the biggest TV in the world in the room - plasma screen, though all Italian stations (which suited us as we are trying hard to learn Italian... more

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. I booked this hotel for 9 young girls and I to stay during a choir trip. When we arrived at 11:00 pm, I was told that they had rooms for the girls, but not for me --their teacher/guardian. " Don't worry,” said the concierge, “I think there's a room at... more

After reading other reviews, we weren't sure what to expect. It's true there is no lift but the stairs were manageable. The breakfast was basically a hot drink, juice and a bad roll in a packet but you're not paying for the food. There was some building work going on but it didn't bother us too much. This hotel is... more

This hotel is in a great location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean but very small. Although the ensuite was nicely decorated it had a very small shower cubicle. Our biggest complaint was that the exterior of the building was undergoing work (which no-one had warned us about) which meant our window was... more

Having lived in Italy (Florence) for many years, I did not have any problems finding the hotel. Hotels with little signage and located in apartment buildings are a norm in this country...just look for the big green door. The room was small but well appointed and very clean, with plasma television and laptop with free internet access. This is an... more

To provide a balanced view, my family (including myself, wife and two young children 6 & 7) stayed at the hotel in November and like many of you researched on the web and read trip advisor so our expectations were set! The room (quadruple) was more than adequate because we did not come to Roma to stay in a hotel... more
