The price was the most attractive thing about this hotel. I was looking for a hostel last minute, but all were booked up. So I started looking at hotels, this one was definitely the best priced. Downside: it was not at the centre of all the action in Rome, so if you like to walk, this will be the place... More

I stayed in Daniel's Sweet Home B&B for three weeks total while I was in Rome this year, between late May to mid June while I was the visiting on scholarship for my research. I stayed in one room without en suite bathroom and one with en suite. Neither suffered from predictable issues like lack of hot water, mess or... More

After a huge debacle with a different B&B that we initially booked for our last night in Rome, (they weren't there and couldn't be reached...) we were left stranded in the middle of Rome at 9pm on a Tuesday, with all our bags from a 2 week trip. Luckily, our kind and generous cab driver that we had made friends... More

We stayed in September 2009. We booked on Hostel world and paid a very reasonable rate for Rome. We arrived at a block of flats to find a post it with the landladies number on. We had to go over to the bus station across the road in what felt like the middle of nowhere to use the pay phone... More

Location: about a 10 minute walk to the Vatican City. Area was quiet, yet safe. 20-30 (depending on traffic) minute bus ride into roma terminal. Several good local restaurants nearby. Room: was comfortable and value for money. Clean rooms and clean bathrooms with good water pressure. Breakfast was standard, nothing to get excited over (yoghurt, packaged croissants, juice, italian dried... More

This bed & breakfast is just 5 minutes walking from St. Peter's Square and is less than a block from the bus station with frequent service to other parts of the city. The owner, Filomena, is accessible and responsive by phone, but is not on-site. A housekeeper is there in the morning to set up a simple breakfast of yogurt,... More

Just back yesterday from Daniel's and have to agree with everything I've read prior to our visit. The apartments are very well appointed and looked after. The young lady who comes in each morning to prepare breakfast and clean rooms is extremely consciencious. If you need warm drinks on the fly or the chance to self cater, the kitchenette is... More

This is basically a room in a large condo building with its own bathroom and down a small hall is a kitchen that is open 24 hours for guest use. The kitchen also has some food and drinks for the guests at all times and a simple continental type breakfast is prepared for the guests every morning. There is no... More

I just came back from Rome. The location is excellent. The room was large and clean and the bathroom recently renovated. There is no one at the place to attend you, but you can call the landlady and every morning a girl cames to prepare breakfast and do the cleaning. I will surely repeat shortly. More

Our opinion varied dramatically between the two nights we stayed there. When you arrive there is no way of telling you are at the right place as the ring up button doesn't have the name of the place. You have to wait outside in confusion; fortunately the hostess showed up after 10 minutes or so. She is very nice and... More
