My husband & I stayed for 3 nights in May and were given room 114 which is just off the reception area. We were worried about potential noise however it was doubled doored so it was very quiet. The room was very spacious by European standards and had what looked like the original painted ceiling and door frame. The room... more

I selected the hotel one night befor arrival. I was surprise to find that the rooms are fully renovated. The shower was great and the bed superb. The location is hust in the middle of Rome with walking distance to any location. I truly recommend it. The rooms are not big but sufficient. I'll be back for sure. more

Generally ok but if you're not fussy this hotel is worth it for the convenience of location! We checked in late so took a walk to a local bar nearby. When that closed we walked a few minutes down the main street only to come face to face with the Trajan Column and the breathtaking Victor Emmanuel Monument all lit... more

Can't go wrong with the Elide! The hotel looked to have been totally refurbished for this season, the room could not be faulted, Fridge, TV (you'll never need it), stand up Shower etc in spotless bathroom. Sheets and towels changed at least once in our three night stay. Air con is provided, but for an additional charge. The room was... more

After leaving our camera in the hotel safe we figured we had lost our entire trip worth of pictures...not to mention and expensive camera. Not so, the hotel staff got the camera and sent it back to us via registered mail. They would not even give us a price for shipping so we could pay them back. Thank you for... more

The location is great but the place is terrible. Cold room, bad breakfast, not so clean and after all doesn't take credit card. A bomb! You can find better places at the same price close to it. more

Booked cheaply online at booking.com Hotel is an easy walk from Termini and Republica stations. The area is not scary even late at night. Whole hotel has been recently refurbished. Rooms are tasteful cream and brown colours. Looks like a stylish new apartment. Things I liked: bar fridge, flat plasma screen TV mounted on the wall, extra blankets, good location... more

I was on a longish holiday, staying in various types of accommodation around Europe. The Elide was the low point on my trip, and the only positive about it was that everywhere else seemed great in comparison. The room was clean enough, and it DID have its own bathroom. But... I was placed in the ST room. This room was... more

Absolutely terrible. Power kept tripping out and rooms poorly maintained. Location good, and that's all that's good about this place. Only if nothing else is available!!! more
