Aenea is situated right near Termini station, making it an ideal base to get around and to get to from the airport. The 'hop-on/off' tour buses also stop outside the Santa Maria Maggiore church which is about a 3/4 minute walk away. There's lots of great & really reasonable restaurants in close walking distance. Aenea also provide a few free... More

If you want to live like an Italian whilst in Rome then this is the place for you. Aenea is in the perfect location, easy to find and very central. It is within walking distance to all sights but still in a quiet peaceful area, you can chill or immerse yourself in Roman life...or both! The staff at Aenea made... More

the price was right, and the location was terrific. Five minute walk from the main train station, ten minute walk from the Forum and the Colosseum. Downside: pretty forbidding looking on the outside.. you have to ring to get in. Then it's up two sets of stairs to reception. the stairway is old and smells of mould. BUT the room was... More

Four of us stayed in one of the two bed apartments. It had one bedroom with double bed and balcony to the rear of the building, one bathroom with large shower with built in seat, kitchen (fridge, microwave oven, hob, coffee machine, kettle and utensils) and sitting area with sofa and dining table. The second double and single bed are... More

Don't let the exterior put you off. The apartment was spotless and roomy. Beds were very comfortable. Nice fresh bread delivered every morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would most certainly stay there again and would definitely recommend to anyone planning on going to Rome.

The hotel is like. Lived as native Italians, in a quiet and cosy part of the city. Morning basket of fresh pastries it's romantic and delicious. Liked us and our two kids age 5 and 8 years. If you are traveling with a family then the apartment can accommodate five people. The staff is friendly and responsive

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit -- with two bathrooms, small living area, and a small kitchen. It was perfect for our family of 5. Basic snacks were provided and fresh bread for breakfast was delivered every morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. We booked a car transfer through Aenea for pickup at Rome Fiumicino Airport and were... More

We stayed in the Quad room with our 2 children during our 3-night visit to Rome. We had selected Aenea based on its location and the reviews on Trip Advisor. Happily Aenea met our expectations. We were travelling both into and out of Rome by Train. Even in the rain it was a comfortable 10-minute walk from Roma termini with... More

We rented the 2 bedroom apartment on the ground floor. The apartment was very comfortable for our family of 5. Layout works well with one bedroom on each end of the apartment, 2 bathrooms and a living / dining area. The kitchen is very small but, has all of the essentials, refrigerator, stove, microwave and nespresso coffee machine. We arrived... More

We stayed here for 3 nights after a transatlantic cruise. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. The breakfast breads each morning were delicious and slightly different each morning. The hotel is well positioned for transport and sights and the street is well lit if walking at night. The bed was comfortable and the bedding excellent. It... More

Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
