I have been here twice-- once in November 2014, once in July 2015. Both visits were great. Close to the train station, but on a tiny, mostly pedestrian street. Walking distance to the Colluseum. Surrounded by delicious restaurants. A fresh basket of buns and breads delivered to your door every morning! Plus, a nespresso machine! The rooms were both very... More

Aenea has a great team, which offers you help in any way you need. Aenea is located within 15 minutes walking distance to Termini Station and Colosseum. Even we rent a self catering apartement, butter, jam, milk and a busket with fresh bred and croissants have been provided daily. The room rate incluced a daily housekeeping service as well. Apartement... More

We stayed for three nights in the two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. The beds were comfortable, the owners particularly helpful, accommodating and friendly. The breakfast basket with fresh rolls and pastries brought to your door every day, juice, nutella and replenishment of coffee every day is a very welcome treat. Serviced daily. It is very close to the Colosseum and... More

The staff couldn't be more helpful. We loved our room which was large and airy. Everything was clean and well maintained. On arrival the mini fridge in our room was stocked with drinks. Breakfast arrived each day in a basket hooked on our door, much to the delight of our youngest and it was full of delicious bread rolls and... More

It is a wonderful, convenient and quiet place to stay in the busy city of Rome. It is only about a 10min walk from the main Rome Train Station, but also very close to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. It is located on a quiet street so you won't be bothered by city sounds. There are many restaurants and food... More

This B&B has hotelrooms and two lovely appartments. We only can Judge the appartment, which was really lovely and very spacious. Also in the morning, you can find your breakfast, hanging at your door in a nice basket. It was quite a lot, so enough to even have lunch with that. The terras was very nice to have a glas of... Aenea is situated right near Termini station, making it an ideal base to get around and to get to from the airport. The 'hop-on/off' tour buses also stop outside the Santa Maria Maggiore church which is about a 3/4 minute walk away. There's lots of great & really reasonable restaurants in close walking distance. Aenea also provide a few free... More

If you want to live like an Italian whilst in Rome then this is the place for you. Aenea is in the perfect location, easy to find and very central. It is within walking distance to all sights but still in a quiet peaceful area, you can chill or immerse yourself in Roman life...or both! The staff at Aenea made... More

the price was right, and the location was terrific. Five minute walk from the main train station, ten minute walk from the Forum and the Colosseum. Downside: pretty forbidding looking on the outside.. you have to ring to get in. Then it's up two sets of stairs to reception. the stairway is old and smells of mould. BUT the room was... More

Four of us stayed in one of the two bed apartments. It had one bedroom with double bed and balcony to the rear of the building, one bathroom with large shower with built in seat, kitchen (fridge, microwave oven, hob, coffee machine, kettle and utensils) and sitting area with sofa and dining table. The second double and single bed are... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
