We checked out the room before we decided. We had been to another hotel and you could smell the smoke, as we are non smokers we couldn't stand it. This hotel was clean, didn't smell close to a good restaurant and large enough for 3 people. The breakfast in the morning was eggs, toast, and many more items to choose... More

Not extraordinary in any way, but taking the price in account, it was really pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfy, at first we were surprised about the floor, cause it seemed like made of some kind of concrete, with no carpet or whatsoever, but in the end we understood it perfectly because of all the sand we were... We were delighted to find this family run hotel, overlooking the sea. A very short drive from Rome airport so perfect to stay at as we had an early flight back to UK. Excellently clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast also included eggs, which we always think a bonus! The staff were very helpful and spoke our language English which was... More

My wife and daughter booked one night at the Bellavista in August. The room we were initially given was extremely dated, very small and did not come close to resembling the pictures advertised. It was easily one of the three worst hotel rooms I have ever seen. After telling the front desk that the room was unacceptable, I was transferred... More

We are a family of 4 two teenage boys. Lots of great things to say about this place. There is a person at the front desk 24 hours - which is great - always someone there to help whereas we have stayed in other places where you have to call someone to meet you, and ended up really frustrated and... All fixtures, windows, wall covering, beds, bath, looked new. There is a beautful upstairs deck with a jacuzzi, sauna and rest area and a birdseye view of the coastline. We enjoyed taking walks along the beach sidewalk then walking back to the hotel thru the residential areas. The breakfast area looked new also and they served large portions with an... More

We spent an enjoyable 4 night stay at this hotel. It is an excellent location on the sea front opposite a public beach. The local train from Ostiense Station takes half an hour and you get off at Stella Polare Station only 200 yards from the hotel. Also, from this station it is only 2 stops to Ostia Antica. The... We did not do our homework before booking a night at this hotel. It is very outdate and extremely dirty. The walls has visible dirt lines and cracks on them near the beds. There were over flowing dumpsters out front and garbage rolling around in the streets surrounding the hotel. The rooms looked nothing the pictures posted on the website.... More

I travel a lot in Italy and understand Americans can be more demanding than Europeans. My demands are more within the European range. Arriving at the Bellavista, I expected little more than the airport hotel we'd have otherwise gotten. However I had requested an ocean view room but was told no such request was on file. Instead we were shown... More

Dear Madam, Since a few days our hotel decided to make some important changes in management and structural relationships with the public. For this reason I'm going to respond to your message only now. When You have stayed in our hotel there might have been some unpleasant contingencies that can be attributed mostly to the management rather than the hotel... More

Let's describe it in simple way; good points and bad points. Good points: nice view from the balcony towards the sea, large terrace (we were given the best room, i guess with the largest terrace style balcony with direct sea view:-), not far from main railway station to Rome, shops and places to eat Bad points: (where do i begin?:-)...
