Our first stop on our first trip to Italy and everything was perfect. Our gracious hostess provided a warm welcome and was always pleasant and kind, even when we asked many questions. Surprised by the beautifull inside, we stayed 4 days in this very convenient accomodation. The location in the center of the historical town and very close to the metrostation "Crispi" is superb. I just returned from a three night stay with my partner at "Casa di Serena" and can only write what has written before: just a wonderful place for an easy and quiet stay in Rome, central due to the proximity of the metro while at the same time it feels you are really living in a residential area of Rome.... more

Serena is wonderful, she will meet & greet you, the location is perfect for all activites, moments away from the Vatican, the metro is right down the street so you are at the Spanish Steps and centre in minutes, great restaurants around as well. Serena is a marvelous hostess with a powerful sense of what it takes to welcome and relax you after a hectic day of travel. We loved the Casa di Serena. My family of 5 had a wonderful stay here. Room was large and all 5 beds were american-sized and comfy (great pillows). Bathrooms were spotless!!! Shower was spotless but door a little narrow -- you won't make it in if you're plus-sized. Location was good -- near the Vatican, which meant not so close... more

Date: October 18, 2008 We loved our stay. Very comfortable bed, especially nice after a long day walking and touring. Sheets and blankets are soft along with pillows. We had a wonderful experience at Serena's establishment. Anything we needed including directions and recommendations was cheerfully provided for us. One night a lightening strike caused the electricity to go out late at night and Serena was there well past midnight making sure everyone was OK . There is a Metro Station an easy walk away and the Vatican wall... more
