I'm in this place right now with my girlfriend. It's perfect. Location is wonderful, amazingly comfy beds, everything works (obviously WiFi as I'm writing this using it), in quite a quirky building, great guy who runs it even though only met him when we checked in, bathroom is super clean, spacious as anything, great value.

Great value for money. Delicious croissant and great coffee served for breakfast. Clean and fairly comfortable rooms. Close to everything (walking distance to most sites and termini station). Good wifi and very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this place, it is simple but has everything you need without the expensive price tag.

Good location, hospitality, good value for money. Coffee and cornetto as breakfast just around the corner. Sometimes cold shower, but it never bothers me :-) Very friendly staff. Close to the Santa Maria Maggiore.

Place is cheap with a good location, but it's not really a hotel, a few rooms on the 5 the floor of a building. The bathroom smells strongly of mould, the room is basic with marks all over the wall. If you are backpacking this place might be ok all be it a little expensive, for a weekend trip I... More

I have stayed in some seedy aces trying to save a dollar but this place was beyond horrible! After taking the dumb waiter disguised as an elevator to the fifth floor we were greeted by other guests leaving and saying "good luck, you'll need it!". Needless to say it wasn't a good start to our Rome vacation. The first room... More

DO NOT GIVE THEM ACCESS TO CREDIT CARD INFO. These people billed my credit card six weeks in advance of my reservation against their stated policy. This was not a prepaid thing. Their policy was that I would pay when I checked out and certainly not six weeks in advance! It was only a reservation and could be cancelled. After... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and the location is very convenient for the metro & main train terminal. The breakfast included was at a nice café round the corner which made a nice change. Very clean room and shared bathroom. Accommodation quite dark though and not the sort of place you'd want to chill out in. A good base... More

We booked this hotel at very last time of travelling after finding this place is near to termin. Room was bad, stinky, shared bathroom. If you are looking for really low budget then it is ok for one night.

If you're looking for a cheap, friendly, clean place to stop in Rome, then I highly recommend this place. I went as a single traveller, and it would certainly do for a couple although it'd be difficult to cope if you have kids. It's well located, feels safe and the staff are knowledgable and super friendly. If you're not too... More

Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
