Near to the Termini Station, to Colosseo and Foro Romano, in the Monti area, the most trendy in the city. Well, it is the right place for tourism, business and movida. Cheap and clean rooms. Cappuccino and cornetto for breakfast. Irene e Fabrizio are lovely and helpfull. Go there confident and you'll be glad.

Accommodation in Rome is very expensive and this property was the best price for a great location. Rooms where nice and clean, lovely decorations and where serviced every day. Only a 10 minute walk to termini station which was very convenient but also only a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum. Staff where helpful letting us leave... More

I stayed for one night in a single room in Ares Rooms in early May. The building is located close to the Termini station and walking distance to the colloseum, so in a perfect location. Francesca was very welcoming and the check-in was quickly done. I stayed in a single room. The bed is a sort of sofa bed. Bathroom... More

I went to Rome as a class trip an we stayed at Ares Rooms. The stuff was very friendly and helpful (carried my suitcase upstairs etc) and explained everything. The setting is very central, you can take a walk to forum romanum and colosseum (~15min). It is a small hotel with 6 rooms and two bathrooms. You're supposed to share... More

I had a great time, the staff was so friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean. I had room 2 which has a nice view and a sink in the room. The guy working there is very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again when in Rome.

Like others say, this is a great location and great service. Francesca is very kind and eager to help in any way that she can. I would describe the room as functional because it had all the essentials but nothing fancy. It was very hot in May when I was there and surprisingly the open window sufficed as there is... More

Location - very good, 10 minutes from station, 20 to Colliseo. Metro station is not far. Few markets on next corners. Breakfast - very close in caffetteria, but only cup of coffee and croissan (both delicious) Rooms, bathrooms - clean is not enough. Quit neighbors. Owner, communication - Francesca is very kind. All info is provided. WIFI - good working.... More

I'm in this place right now with my girlfriend. It's perfect. Location is wonderful, amazingly comfy beds, everything works (obviously WiFi as I'm writing this using it), in quite a quirky building, great guy who runs it even though only met him when we checked in, bathroom is super clean, spacious as anything, great value.

Great value for money. Delicious croissant and great coffee served for breakfast. Clean and fairly comfortable rooms. Close to everything (walking distance to most sites and termini station). Good wifi and very friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this place, it is simple but has everything you need without the expensive price tag.

Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt.
