We have just returned from 5 days stay at VILLA Rosa-Rome.
Location- Aprox. 250 meters from the Tarstevere station, it's important when a taxi from the airport costs 50 E. (only 5.5 E by train). Aprox. 100 meters from Tram 8 and major bus lines.
A bit noisy at night (try to ask for rooms at the back).
The hotel is located at the Trastevere area, graet atmosphere at night.
Rooms- rather small but clean, smelled good, fresh tools and sheets every day. Hey, you are in Rome, how cares about the room size?. We had a bit of a problem mattress but I really can't compare it to my home mattress.
Breakfast- In Israeli standards, it was pretty lame, but we knew it before ordering. It wouldn't kill them to provide Yogurt and some cheese too. Rome offers you breakfasts for 5.5 E each and good ones.
Staff- friendly, friendly and again friendly. All most every one of them speak English well (especially the ladies). We fill obligated to mark the two...
