I didn´t expected so much and I was suprised. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull. The room was basic, but very clean. After first night we moved to other room because of the noise from big road under the window, but after that it was all ok. Bad was comfort for two people and bathroom was perfect. Breakfast... More

One has to judge this hotel keeping in mind the reasonable cost and location. The cost is EU 185 which is very reasonable but by no mean do not expect it to be a Hilton in Rome. As for location it is very close to the bus stop 3 to take you to the colosseum, the tram to Argentina to... More

Comparing quality to prices for hotels is difficult in Rome, especially when there is an event in the city just like when we were there last april. We we happy to have found a (basic) three star Hotel for a four/five star price, but there was the vent with the former pope and it is Rome. The hotel can be... More

The pictures are deceptive! The lobby has been upgraded but the rooms are the original 70's decore with the original carpets and mattresses. The room had soot all around the walls, we saw cockroaches, and had to switch 3 rooms before we got a working air conditioning system, which made the room tolerable but not cold. The only saving aspect... More

Air conditioners in several rooms did not work. They moved our group from room to room several times, air conditioners all sucked. Area around hotel littered with beer bottles and hypodermic needles. Lobby is nice, rooms aren't. If you really dislike someone, tell them to stay here. More

If it were not for the stairs... I loved my stay here. Pamela and Steban were friendly and helpful when my purse was stolen at Trastevere train station. The room was tiny, but clean and with a comfy bed after long walks in the city. And breakfast was plentiful. The neighborhood is worth seeing. I'll never forget these days. Thank... More

I stayed at Villa Rosa hotel for 10 days at the end of February 2011 with my working collegues, as we partecipated at Big Blu nautical fair at Rome fair, therefore we chose a hotel that was cheap enough for our company budget, as we got 3 doubles for single use for 48EUR/per room/per night, which was excellent for us.Breakfast... Villa Rosa Hotel is a nice hotel, located pretty close to the center of Rome, which makes it easy to visit a lot of the famous sites in Rome. The only slight problem about the location is that the hotel is located upon a hill, which could make reaching the hotel a bit more difficult for some people. The staff... More

Me and my fianceé stayed here for 3 nights and it was an ordeal to say the least. Cracks and stains on the walls, chipped and dirty headboard, a wardrobe that you would expect to see in a 50's horror film and walls that are paper thin so if you choose to stay here, get used to hearing ambulances (with... We booked the hotel because we wanted to stay in the area of Trastevere which we heard would be a real 'Roman experience'. Unfortunately the hotel was not actually in the centre of Trastevere and was infact over a 20 minute walk to get there. The area which the hotel was in wasn't particularly nice, the only good thing I... More
