We arrived at 10am and the owner allowed us to keep the luggage in the room and let us to take a shower if we don't mind that the room not yet cleaned. Room was enough size for 2, near to Roma terminal and 20 mins walk to many attractions. We planned to take metro, however it's on strike, we... More

The "Best Place" is very easy to find, just two blocks from the Termini Station, and also close to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, we walked a lot, but that´s the best way to visit Rome, it´s a shame if you miss the beautifull views of the streets, going on the underground. I Found and old and charming building, without... More

We stayed at B&B Best Place for a whole week. In my opinion Best Place was the best choice. Not only beacuse it is located nearby the center of Rome and the price is low, but it is very nice and (always!!!) clean - thanks to the fantastic service; though rather simple (with "help yourself" breakfast in tiny kitchen). Important:... More

I stayed there for a few days as got in Rome without planing my trip in advance. The location is good, very close to underground station and a walking distance to the central station. There u can get the train or airport shuttle. The place is really nice, the room is clean and comfy, free and fast wi-fi. The hostess... More

The room was clean but cold. There was really small breakfast, old bread, some biscuits, tea and coffee. Anyway was fine so I recommend for a short stay. We could leave the luggage in without payment so that's plus.

If you are searching for a place, where you can sleep, eat and feel comfortable, near to everything and near to airport shuttle, this is the place that you are searching for. I was there for a week with my family, it was perfect place to stay, I think the pictures attached here are not accurate, the room was very... More

Several other reviews really slammed this place, however we arrived with the expectation that this accommodation was more of a hostel configuration, and for that it ticked all the boxes. The bed was comfortable with adequate linen and bedroom heating to warm up a cold winter body. The room was very tidy and clean, including the bathroom which appeared to... More

Be prepared for a major disappointment. You should only stay here if your desperate or really just need a room near the bus stop to get to the Rome airport. Wi-fi was not working, shower did not drain, they charged for towels, breakfast is not necessarily provided (the food is there for you to prepare), the building itself seems unsafe... More

I booked this place because of its price and location (1 block away from the Termini train station), but the pictures I saw while booking were quite deceiving. Our room was extremely small and the bathroom was tiny. The toilet was so close to the wall that if I had been any taller (I am 5'8"), I would have had... More

The Best Place B&B was ironically one of the worst places we've stayed in. The only positive thing about the hotel is it's location, being a 2 minute walk to Roma Termini. Walking to the main attractions such as the Trevi Fountain etc also only takes around 15-20 minutes. For 46 euro a night, what you get is closer to... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
