Stayed here in May 2015 with three young adults. We got two rooms with shared bathroom - which meant we were the only two rooms sharing the bathroom (other rooms had their own bathroom). The rooms are all pleasant, clean, and comfortable. We were feeling a little hesitant when we booked it because we normally stay at nicer hotels, but... More

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights while in Rome and we loved it. It's fairly simple -- no big amenities or anything -- but it was still pleasant. They provided us with a laptop and an emergency cell phone (to call them if necessary) and free wifi. The room was clean, and they did come in to... More

Lovely hotel providing soft drinks and juice in rooms, wonderful breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to train station, numerous places to eat, shop and catch scenic tour bus. Quite location and our room overlooked ancient baths...sorry we were only there a few nights!

I highly recommend this B&B. It is very well located, near Termini but on a quiet street. There is wi-fi and even a laptop you can use. The bed was very comfortable and was made up every day. It was perfectly clean and there was actually muesli as a cereal option, plus yoghurt, toast, etc, and an espresso machine. The... More

She was kind enough to give us a map with indications of the main areas, buses, and places to drink and eat. The rooms was perfect, clean and nice, as well as the... More

Great location to terminal; nice and comfortable rooms we've gotten. The only thing is the shared bathroom. Its without heater and the window is always opened. Super cold to change in cold bathrooms after shower

The owners are an amazing couple with a lot of patience and will to help. It's easy to tell they like to travel themselves and really like to make travellers feel at home in their B&B. We got a very detailed long explanation and tips about touring the city. They own two B&B, we stayed at the second one which... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
