The location is absolutely impeccable. Right outside of Termini, yet it's on its own quiet little street. The owner was helpful and courteous. She provided us a map of Rome and showed us what to look for and what not. Room was spacious, and I believe I was supposed to get the shared bathroom room, but was upgraded to ensuite... More

Rome was our first stop on a month long trip around Europe. We really enjoyed our stay at Wow Roma and absolutely would recommend it and we would stay there again. The owner was very nice and helpful. The rooms clean and cute. We got to experience one night with the shared bath and one night with a private. The... More

Great location just down the road from the train station and right near some taste restaurants and delis. Cosy, safe and comfortable rooms. Our hosts were amazing! They gave us a map and rundown of where to go and how to get about Rome. Heaps of info about the best way to see the local sites, money saving ideas and... More

Stayed here in May 2015 with three young adults. We got two rooms with shared bathroom - which meant we were the only two rooms sharing the bathroom (other rooms had their own bathroom). The rooms are all pleasant, clean, and comfortable. We were feeling a little hesitant when we booked it because we normally stay at nicer hotels, but... More

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights while in Rome and we loved it. It's fairly simple -- no big amenities or anything -- but it was still pleasant. They provided us with a laptop and an emergency cell phone (to call them if necessary) and free wifi. The room was clean, and they did come in to... More

Lovely hotel providing soft drinks and juice in rooms, wonderful breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. Easy walk to train station, numerous places to eat, shop and catch scenic tour bus. Quite location and our room overlooked ancient baths...sorry we were only there a few nights!

I highly recommend this B&B. It is very well located, near Termini but on a quiet street. There is wi-fi and even a laptop you can use. The bed was very comfortable and was made up every day. It was perfectly clean and there was actually muesli as a cereal option, plus yoghurt, toast, etc, and an espresso machine. The... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
