Very clean room, friendly and helpful staff. Perfect spot to stay for your Rome adventure. a bit hard to find cause there is no sign outside you (check the name on the ring bell on building number 44)

Booked this hotel by chance from Expedia, then on arriving late at night in the dark began to have second thoughts. However not to worry after an initial problem in finding the front door (as there are no signs, Tip use the street numbers and check the the small name tabs) We were welcomed by the guy on the desk... We had a great stay at Casa Carra and would definitely recommend it for a good price/quality deal. The staff at the reception are very friendly and helpful, giving you directions, good advice and even an umbrella and bottles of water when in need :) Metro station just across the street. The Colosseum within walking distance. Good value for money!

The hotel is walking distance from the metro, which is great. We made a last minute reservations and were greeted at late hours by friendly and helpful owners. The rooms were very clean with comfy beds and great showers. It is also very safe in the hotel with security cameras. I would recommend this hotel to friends and stay here... More

One of the cheaper places we could find in Rome and we were really happy with the choice. The reception guy (I wish I could remember his name, he was from Romania) was sooo friendly and helpful, best person we encountered on our trip. Hotel was really clean, and good location, close to metro and coliseum. The room even had... More

Booked this hotel in Rome last minute for our stay in April. The guy at the reception was very helpful and nice! This was the first time we were in Rome and he circled out the attractions around the city for us and taught us how to get there, simply amazing saved myself the hassle to figure it all out!... The room was very nice: good bed and shower, fridge, air conditioning. The guy at the reception was very nice and helpful. The location of Casa Carra is pretty good, just next to the Vitorio Emanuele metro station, one station from Rome Termini central station. The breakfast at the cafetaria next door was nothing special but okay.

We ended up in Casa Carra after quite a lot of searching and we stayed very satisfied with our choice! The room was the cleanest of those we have stayed in, cleaned up every day (except change of sheets as we had our own). Quite noisy if you'd like to open the balcony door which actually wasn’t necessary for us... More

The room was very clean, the staff were unbelievably helpful! We only stayed 2 nights, on arrival we were given advice where to visit & when along with a map. We would not have managed to see half of what we did see if they hadn't given us such brilliant advice!

the room was very clean. the location is very good-nice area and close to the Metro. the reception man, Constantine, was very helpful and very kind and the price was really good. the problem is that the room windows open to the street so if you want it quiet you have to keep the windows closed all the time to... Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
