We loved the Federici B&B. We travelled with 2 families and found the bedrooms spacious and clean, the breakfast hot and delicious and the common room an added bonus for family game nights. Fabio was very helpful in directing us to places of interest and directing us to restaurants. The location is perfectly situated next to the Metro station and... More

Staying at Federici B&B is the way to go, especially if you are traveling alone. Fabio made me feel so welcome, answered all my queries, advised me not to go to one place on my wish list, told me which buses, tram or subway to take to the day's destination (all nearby) and advised me as to which nearby neighborhood... Great B&B to stay in Rome. Right by the metro station, so very, very convenient to everything! Walking distance to the Vatican, great shopping and food close by. Fabio was a great host, the breakfast was ample served in a nice big sunny room. The guest rooms were small, and the shower we had was very small, but clean and... More

I have used tripadvisor for years to find good places to stay. Alas, I never wrote any reviews of the good or the bad. This time I decided that I would add my voice to the others who commented. It really was a really good stay. We stayed 4 nights. It was easy to get to from the airport-train and... More

Great B&B to stay in whilst in Rome. 10 mins to the Vatican and metro and buses all close by as well. Fabio was a great host and gave us some great tips re: food, we tried them all and had some amazing local food at a local cafe type place and a swish up-market place only open on a... More

It was a great 5 day holiday in Rome and Federici B&B made it perfect! The location is great. It has very easy access to public transport, metro just at the door, 5 minutes from Vatican and walking distance from city centre. The owner Fabio is a fantastic host. He explained everything to me and advised me some great places... More

We stayed two nights with Fabio. The location is excellent with the subway at the door and the Vatican a 10 minute walk away. The actual accommodation is in an older apartment house on the 3rd floor so you ring the door bell at the entrance and Fabio comes down and guides you through the court yard (nothing special) and... My family and I stayed two nights at this B&B and we loved this place. Fabio was very helpful during the entire stay and was even willing to make breakfast available 30 minutes earlier so we could make our tour in the morning. This is a great location, clean rooms and a great place to experience life in Rome. Highly... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in June. The B&B is very well located right outside a Metro stop. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Bathroom a bit of a tight squeeze but this is Rome after all! The breakfast is ample. Fabio is very helpful and knowledgeable. Would stay here again as the location is excellent.

A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights. The Guest House is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of what appears to be an apartment building near the Vatican in Rome. Location is good, as the Metro entry is almost immediately in front of the building and the Vatican is just a few blocks away. The courtyard for... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
