A friend and I stayed here for 3 nights. The Guest House is located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of what appears to be an apartment building near the Vatican in Rome. Location is good, as the Metro entry is almost immediately in front of the building and the Vatican is just a few blocks away. The courtyard for... More

Fabio was very friendly and helpful and had lots of good suggestions on how to spend our 3 days in Rome....all with a wonderfully dry sense of humour. Great location - close to Metro and Vatican. Fabio suggested that we wander away from the touristy places in order to find a restaurant less pricey with food just as good.

We spend 5 nights in Federici Guest House. Over all we feel very well. Charming room, clean and quiet with inside bathroom. Breakfast ok. Fine tea or coffee, croissants or fresh bread, butter, jam, cheese and salami. Living room for relax. Near to Vaticano and the metro station Ottaviano. We explore 90% of the city by walking. Rome is a... More

We were a little unsure as to what to expect, but we were delighted when we met Fabio and he showed us inside the Federici guest house. Don't think of this as a UK Guest house, like sharing somebody else's house with them, this is an elegant apartment with 5 comfy bedrooms, all en suite, with a comfortable and stylish... More

So I have been coming back to Federici and Fabio for years. Simple, comfortable and the best location you could want. You can fall into the metro or walk into St Peter's in just a few minutes. A wonderful warm welcome as ever. Just one of my favourite getaways in a gorgeous city. Ciao Roma, Ciao Fabio, see you soon.

Very friendly, clean, comfortable, centraly located, easily reachable from everywhere ( subway station is 10 meters away) and Mr Fabio is a very friendly, helpful man. Also as a part of an apartment, you feel yourself part of an İtalian neighborhood.

I'm really glad that we came across Federici when looking for decently-priced accommodation in Rome. The guest house is in a great location, being right next to a metro stop and just a short walk from Vatican City. The owner Fabio is fantastic - super friendly and has a lot of helpful tips on the best routes to explore Rome.... More

Clean, comfortable, lovely B&B with amazing breakfasts. It's a small B&B with communal areas to hang around in. Fabio was a wonderful host, telling us all about Rome and what to see/how to get around etc. I would definitely recommend this place to all.

Federici Guest House was a wonderful find! The B&B is located on the third floor of an older apartment building, which could cause you to underestimate their beauty. The rooms were recently remodeled, with lots of wood, and tastefully decorated. The owner was very helpful--with maps and suggestions. It is just a six minute walk from the Vatican with a... More

It was a wonderful place to stay right in the heart of Rome. Fabio the owner was fantastic and full of knowledge. He was prompt with all communication and met us at the guesthouse on the day to help with our cases. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Small but very tidy bathrooms too. The built-ins and aircon were... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
