We stayed there 3 nights. A very convinient location for sightseeing Rome - it's just a couple of minutes walk from Central Station - Termini and only ab 200 m away from Republica Metro station. My family and I walked around the whole centre of Rome - its really not far away from there - all main city attractions are... More

Yes its not a hotel, but 6 rooms, very quiet and very comfortable. I had a double room/single use, perfect, clean, bathroom, etc what to say. Value for money is very good and the star, well, one was very helpful and concerned I was comfortable. Great WI FI connection. Would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Possibly the worst "hotel" i have ever stayed in, we booked 3 night in this "3 Star hotel" with AirBerlin Holidays (NEVER AGAIN). When we arrived we were grated by a scruffy young man wearing a dirty shirt and bad English. We were shown to the room which was filthy, a bed covered in stains, all surfaces covered in dust,... This was a little tricky to find, but well worth the effort. Location is great, really within walking distance to all the main tourist sites. Very handy to the Termini. Room was lovely, much bigger than you would expect. The staff did not speak english, but what the hell they still were able to help with maps and directions. Breakfast... More

Good Location, but that is the only good thing. Staff messed up our booking, thought it was funny and were very rude. One member of staff was very creepy and kept calling us baby. The hotel itself smelt smokey, rooms where dirty and cold. Rooms felt very cheaply done and in ours the motif was peeling off the wall. Early... More

A little tricky to find but great location next to a metro station and a short walk from Termini train station, walking distance from the Trevi Fountain and Pantheon, simple clean rooms for a very affordable price, breakfast is outside the hotel, but well taken care.

Myself and my husband stayed here in early December. We did a lot of research into the area and I must admit, Via Nazionale is a fantastic location and is exactly where you want to be staying if you want to go site seeing in Rome. The "Hotel" however is anything but a hotel! We arrived there late on the... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
