this is the perfect place in Rome, in Trastevere where all the nice food and drinkingplaces are. A 5 minutes walk and you" ll find what you want. Only 10 minutes walk to arrive in the old city. We will sure come back to rome and make reservations for this B&B.

I chose this place because of the location. It's just one block from my daughter's dorm and we wanted to be near her. We were visiting Rome with two kids, so we would have needed 2 hotel rooms. At our time of travel, I found the rates at the nearby hotel we used before to be to be very high... More

I typically put a lot of effort into deciding where to stay when I'm traveling. That's especially true when I'm with my two teenage daughters, as I like to pick places that are safe, not too far from interesting areas, and comfortable. Even so, it's impossible to truly know if the choice made was a good one until one actually... More

We spent 3 nights in this quirky apartment and loved it. Elisabetta was friendly and helpful. Her recommendations on areas to scout out secondhand items and antiques were spot on. The apartment was fully equipped and we were very grateful for the washing machine. The shower is a little awkward but it had great pressure and loads of hot water.... More

Given the price of Rome hotels, this two-room B&B is an outstanding value. And perhaps the other room warrants the five-star reviews here, but the room we stayed in did not. To determine if this property is right for you, here are some pros and cons: Pros: price; very spacious; good location on edge of Trestevere neighborhood, which has a... More

We spent three nights at this wonderful B&B while visiting our daughter who is attending John Cabot University right down the street. The location is ideal to visiting all the wonderful attractions in Rome and is very close to a number of wonderful bars and dining establishments. The suite provides a very authenic roman feel with a impressive wall mural... More

We spent a long weekend Feb 9 - 12th as Elisabetta's guests, and couldn't have been happier! the studio is super-central so that you can walk everywhere, grab breakfast next door, find handfuls of restaurants within 5 minutes walk and reach St Peters, or the Pantheon, so easily by foot. We relaxed a lot in the studio while a snow... More

It was our first visit to Rome, and could not have found a better place to stay! Spacious, and just a few minutes away from Piazza Navona and Vatican. Ancient Trastevere B&B is in the neighbourhood with the most cosy tratorias and bars, so after a long day walking in order to explore the city, having a delicious dinner close... More

We stayed here four nights in April 2011 and loved it, from the big, light-filled windows to the spacious downstairs to the nescafe machine just outside our door. The area is lively and fun, with lots of eateries and shops nearby. The apartment has unique decor, including the impressive mural on the wall. All in all, a delightful place to... More

This is a great place to be in Rome. The building where the Ancient Trastavere is already has the flavour of ancient Rome. The Loft is just great and the moment you enter you feel at home. Besides it's really handy, within walking distance of most nice places in Rome, Piazza Navona, the Trastevere, the Vatican... Besides the welcome is... More
