We were lucky to stay in both of the apartments over a two week vacation. The location can't be beat...very close and within walking distance to all the sites including the Vatican. They aren't fancy apartments, but the location, cleanliness, and comfort levels are all there. Much better than a hotel or many of the other B&Bs in the area.... More

The Ancient Trastevere Bed and Breakfast is a very well equipped accomodation in Trastevere, just off the bank of the river. The Vatican, Forum Romanun and the historic neighbourhood Centro Storico with the famous fountains and a lot of beautiful basilicas is within walking distance. Trastevere offers a lot of good restaurants at reasonable prices. The Ancient Trastevere Bed and... More

We stayed for 4 nights with 2 friends. They had the suite & we had the loft. All four of us loved the quirky accommodation. Very comfortable - especially the beds, and very well located - great restaurants 5 minutes walk away and all the main sights up to a half hour stroll away. Great to have the kitchen and... More

We stayed in the "Loft" apartment for 4 nights. The kitchen was handy to have (although we mostly ate out) and the bed was super comfy. The bathroom, while "bijoux", has a proper bath, which I think is essential after 8 hours of solid sightseeing! The owner, Elisabetta, met us on arrival and gave us lots of advice and some... More

This was our fourth but not last visit to Rome. It was also the second time we came to Ancient Trastevere. I’ve been here on business at a 5 star hotel, stayed four nights at other b&b’s but Ancient Trastevere and all things around it beats them all (who wants to eat at the hotel in Rome?). The rooms are... More

Out of the ordinary and Elisabetta goes out of her way for you too. This apartment is in the Trastevere and you're within easy reach of all the main sites. It would be best to sus out the bus system before you arrive but Elisabetta will help you locate elusive bus stops.

We stayed in the Loft and it was so charming!! It is beautifully decorated and is so spacious. The view is beautiful and the fountain on arrival is so pretty! (We spotted passer bys popping into the courtyard just to see it!) my boyfriend at 6ft felt like a giant in the shower but if anything it just adds to... More

The Loft Apartment is ideally situated in trendy Trastevere - it is great for accessing by foot the major tourist sights in Rome and the lively night life of Trastevere. You will be spoiled for choice between restaurants, cafe bars, pizzerias and a range of boutique shops. The Loft itself is well equipped (albeit that the washing machine had been... More

When I saw the pictures of this place I instantly fell in love, The angels and the vibe of the place touched my heart . I wasnt wrong. We came to Rome on 14 March 2013 and were overwhelmed how stunning it was We stayed at the Ancient Trastervere B&B and Elisabetta could not have been more helpful. The B&B itself was an authentic rustic Italian feel in the heart of the typical Italian centre of Trastevere. The B&B was spotless with a fresh croissant each morning and... More
