This hotel was clean, conveniently located for our need to catch the train the next day. We found our room clean and nice and the breakfast the next morning was really nice. The staff at the desk was helpful with our requests for directions and to a few places. We would recommend this hotel and stay here again should we... More

Went on Google map to research for hotels to stay for our visit to Rome. Found this reasonably priced 4 star hotel near, but not too near to the Termini station. We arrived early, before the check in time. The manager did some rooms shuffling to allow us to check in early. The rooms are not like the hotel chains... More

Stayed there for one night for a short trip to Rome. A lot of value for money. Very kind staff (I mean realy kindness, not the usual played friendliness) and a great breakfast buffet. beautifully appointed rooms, a recommended rooftop bar and the kindness of the stuff bring you back to a time of which we believe that it is... This hotel is within easy walking distance of Rome Termini Station so isconvenient for both train and plane travellers since there is a good train service from the airport. The rooms are spacious, not new, but clean and well appointed. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is basic but there is a nice bar within the hotel for drinks and light... More

We had a very nice room on the 5th floor, which was quite large. Rooms are very quite but if you open the window you get lots of traffic noise, you can't hear a thing if the windows are closed though. The hotel is in an excellent location if you are travelling by train; just a short stroll to Roma... More

Stayed for four days with family whilst sight seeing. Great location for the train station (handy to visit Santa marinella beach for a nice day trip) ten mins from most of the attractions in the north of Rome, 30 mins to the Vatican if walking. Some lovely restaurants but make sure you are aware of the prices before you go... More

I stayed in this hotel having travelled from Perugia. I arrived at 08:00 in the morning knowing I could not check in. The hotel were more than happy to keep my bag safe whilst I enjoyed the city. I arrived back at the hotel late afternoon to find my bag in my room after I had checked in. The staff... More

If you're arriving or departing by train, this hotel is just around the corner from Roma Termini. We spent three nights here and walked to all the major sites: 40 minutes Colossium, 30 minutes Trevvi Fountain (big disappointment - sealed off and undergoing renovations), 30 minutes Spanish Steps. Staff are very friendly and polite as well as knowledgeable and helpful.... More

This Hotel was excellent for location for Train, Metro, Bus and Tram. Very clean with old Italian charm. Excellent Roof Garden Bar/Spa with good view across the roof tops. Cannot comment on food because all meals taken outside the hotel. Hotel WiFi was not of good quality. I would return.

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
