My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Piram in March 2015. Although the offered nightly rate was an awesome deal, breakfast was not included. If you end up in this situation, you will pay 15 euro per person per day to have a mediocre breakfast buffet at the hotel. This will add up if you spend more than a... More

We stayed at Welcome Piram for 5 nights in July 2012. We mainly chose this hotel as it was cheap and close to Rome's main train station. Even though the location was not the prettiest Rome has to offer there is lots of restaurants to choose from nearby. As for the hotel itself, it has a lovely decor and very... More

Welcome Piram is a comfortable 5 minute walk from Termini station. We arrived just after sunset to find the surrounding area bustling with locals making their way home. Being so close to the train station, the area itself is somewhat dingy and with unsavoury characters loitering about. However, we never ventured out after 10 pm as we'd heard of muggings... More

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from Termini main station. A lot of resturants are very nearby. Closseum is 15 minutes walk. Breakfast is good but very basic. Rooms are ok. No Gym . elevators are very slow. Free wifi

I was there just for a stop, before going to Moscow. I arrived late in the afternoon and they soon offered me to go to visit the beauty farm. The room was large and well equipped, the bathroom completely renewed. I had a problem with the shower, no hot water. I informed the receptionist and before going he didn't let... More

We recently visited Rome for a long weekend. We arrived at the hotel slightly earlier than the stated check-in time but the staff were really friendly and accommodating, checking us into another room that was ready. The hotel was a slight walk to the main attractions but the location was great for travelling via Termini station. The standard of the... More

Lovely hotel, staff were extremely friendly. The room was cleaned every day to great standards. The day spa was wonderful. The staff were great, they even retrieved a mugged handbag. Great location too. Only issue that the wifi didn't really work!

The rate was very low, the room very was large and fully equipped if we consider the price. At my floor there was a nice spa, not so common in this kind of Hotel. So: Convenient, near the Train Station, near City Center, with a nice Spa, good staff.

This hotel is 4 stars in some parts and 3 stars in others, small things as a worn down doorway intoo the room, small holes in the stone floor between rooms in the doorway, safetybox not bolted to a solid structure (it was light and could easily been carried away), the spa is great but the jacuzzi did not work... Excellent hotel in Rome, the staff, location and rooms were really good and the price affordable. The location is next to the Termini, which make really easier to commute in rome and to go to others cities. Recommend

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
