I stayed 3 nights at Welcome Piram Hotel. The location near the train station was a necessity for me as my departure called for a 5:00 AM train ride to the Airport. My room was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Given the very reasonable price for the accommodation, they went overboard with some of the little items given to the... More

We have just come back from a trip to Rome we stayed at the Hotel Piram which is a perfect little walk from the Termini station yet not right on top of it. The staff were very helpful and it really is a quaint little hotel. I loved the lift it made it feel really authentic. The two things we... More

Spent a few days here. Very comfortable room. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast staff a little over enthusiastic sometimes. I think they'd eat the breakfast for you if they could. Good position very central, not far from the sites. Good food downstairs and good room service. Reception will help with organised trips to Euroma 2 shopping mall. Would stay again.

efficient, friendly service. comfortable rooms. excellent location: it is just by Roma Termini train (and bus) station, about 3 mins walk; within walking distance from places of interest like Fontana di Trevi and Altare della Patria (otherwise known as Vittorio Emmanuele monument).

I was only in Rome for a couple of nights for business which made this choice of hotel fine. The staff was very nice and helpful. At first when I arrived they gave me a tiny room with a single bed witch was a mistake. They resolved the problem immediately but the room was not that big but it's Rome... More

We booked this hotel for 3 nights. When we first checked in, we were given a room without a desk. Only a bed, a small wardrobe and bedside tables. Since my husband need to do some work while he is traveling, we then request to change room. We then being given a bigger room with desk. The hotel is very... More

The Welcome Piram Hotel is a real hotel with a front desk staff and bell hop (as opposed to a bed and breakfast or boutique of which there are many in Rome) and yet we stayed here for a price rivaling even the cheapest accommodations in the city. The hotel is located two blocks from the Roma Termini train station... More

Last minute planning and it fitted the bill perfectly. great location near the station and within five minutes walk of the colleseum. Restaurants and money exchange are local too! Nice deco and not the typical franchise stuff :-)

This hotel was perfect for our mini break to Rome. Hotel is a lovely little gem. Staff were great - they offered so much help during our stay and suggested places to visit and even gave us a personalise map with their favourite places. The rooms are clean and comfy. Just what you need for a mini break. The breakfast... More

We booked our trip on Booking.com. The hotel was in a perfection location by the main train station so easy to travel to other parts of Italy very easily. We booked car service from the Hotel to pick us up at the airport. One hour later someone finally arrived and we just wasted and hour..not good when you travel to... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
