Just returned from 3 day trip to Rome, stayed at the Piram was slightly worried by the reviews but was very pleasantly surprised. Hotel reception staff are delightful, very helpful & full of local knowledge. The room (155) was very clean & quite spacious, bit noisey early am - laundry delivery. Breakfast is adequate enough to set you up for... more

My sister and I stayed for a week in July 2009. The hotel is about 200 meters from the main Railway station, and a similar distance from Republica metro station. Not the best area, but two women felt no fear walking around at night. The furniture is wonderful; ornate, veneer mosiac antiques. Fabulous. It even has one of those beautiful... more

Only went for 4 nights and if had been for any longer wouldn't have been happy, but perfectly adequate for short break. Small room, microscopic but clean bathroom. Teeny weeney wardrobe, which doesn't matter for a few days. Breakfast was help yourself and if you like cakey pastries all well and good. If you don't go for sweet things then... more

My wife and I were in Rome to celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary. It's been our routine to spend the anniversary weekend in a new city. Thanks to the staff of Welcome Piram to make our visit enjoyable and memorable. more

I can't say much about the inside of the hotel as we were not allowed to check in, although we had a prepaid reservation for two nights! What I can say, though, is that the personnel is extremely unkind and treats customers in an unacceptable way, clearly distinguishing between them according to some unknown rules. When we went to check-in... more

I was a bit concerned about the hotel after reading reviews, but I always take reviews of European hotels with a grain of salt. I'm glad I did. I was really pleased with this hotel. We had a double room for 2 singles. Yes, you will have a twin size bed, but keep in mind you are not in the... more

Lost a day in Rome. Worst hotel expereince ever. When we arrived they told us there was a water problem and put us at a hotel across the street (Hotel Nissa- go on trip advisor to read about that one). This was a one star HOLE. So we waited at the lobby while they continued to let other people come... more

I booked this hotel last minute for 90 euros and was not disappointed. From the outside, the hotel looks like nothing, but it had a very nice lobby. Our room was on the 6th floor and getting there you needed to walk up a flight of stairs as the elevator stopped at the 5th floor. Our room was very big,... more

We stayed for 4 nights at the beginning of the month. We booked 3 months in advanced and were able to get a great deal (for Rome!) and we were placed in huge suite. It was a great location as long as you are willing to walk 5-10km a day. We were able to see all the sights all on... more

I read an earlier review of the hotel 'relocating' guests to other lesser properties. Same thing happened to me. I understand the owner has a string of properties which are half the 220Euro value I paid!! Very poor quality room, zero facilities, bad smell and the so-called room service breakfast simply didnt arrive. I've stayed in ALOT better hotels in... more
