After reading recent reviews we were a bit worried. There was no need at all. The Hotel is well located, staff (all staff) have been friendly and helpful, the room is very clean and a good size and perfect for our 4 night stay. Slight downside is the bathroom, as it is more a wet room with poor drainage, but... More

Stayed for 4 nights. Door got tampered on the 3rd day. We are back from exploring Rome and realize the door was being tampered (see photos). Told the housekeeping and front desk, they said that we spoilt the door. This door swings inwards how do we spoilt the handle and why would we do this to put ourselves in harm.... More

This is an old hotel and full of character! Very high ceilings and tiled floors and great hospitality. We received a free meal for no reason at all from what we could make out! Its location is great. The station takes you right to the airport although its cheaper to come on the bus which drops you off in the... More

We came in during high season, and were met with pleasant and helpful front desk staff, the room was spacious and clean; slightly overpriced. The location was lovely walking distance from station and good restaurants; breakfast was not less than 4 stars. The Spa and roof needed updating though

Stated as a 4 star hotel .. It is a disappointment. The aircon is not working properly like some reviews i read. Bed is not very clean. Seems dusty to the touch. And also the staff doesnt seem to be professional. We asked for an extra keycard but it never came. Why the 2 star rating? Our door lock was... More

I and my family just came back from our Italy tour. Our first hotel was Welcome Piram Hotel on July 11 and 12. The check in was smooth and quick...good thing because we arrived at midnight. We had booked the Junior Suite Room 555, to accommodate all four of us...during our first night we noticed that the air conditioning was... More

My wife and I planned a trip around Napoli and Rome, staying in 4 different hotels. We wanted Rome to be our nicest hotel, so didn't mind spending the most on that part of the trip. However, this hotel turned out to be the worst we had stayed in! We had actually stayed in. 2* basic hotel/hostel in the centre... More

We liked the hotel, interior is nice, modern but elegant. Room was clean and comfortable. Location is really good, but behive. It is good alternative for couples and young travallers. Price is enough good.

So this is my third visit here. The hotel had a bit of a face lift in the reception since last time, which was nice. Bar is more accessible (but expensive so I didn't go). We arrived early and were shown to our room, but had to change it as the bed was too hard. This wasn't an issue for... More

The hotel is classed as a four star hotel. Unless this is allocated based on the prices, I have serious difficulty in understanding why! At the check-in, it was questioned why we needed a second room key-card. Neither then nor in the room was a map of Rome to be found (though later as I waited to speak to the... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
