I loved staying in this hotel with Patrizia. She was very helpful and wonderful to deal with. Rome was such a beautiful place! Patrizia recommended 2 wonderful places to eat dinner, let me borrow her umbrella, and was so gracious about everything! Very close to everything, we were able to walk everywhere, it was an excellent location. I would definitely... More

For my 5 night stay in Rome I did a lot of research into the various hostels and hotels available around the Trevi Fountain/Spanish Steps area, and the Boccaccio consistently rated high on a lot of website reviews. So I bit the bullet and I'm glad I did. First off, it's extremely easy to find, just a block or so... More

As we were first time in Rome it was more then easy to find the hotel, it took us 3 min from Barberini metro station. Hotel is in the old building (like each building in Rome), on the first floor. The owner Patty was very kind to wait for us to check-in as we came an hour later then expected.... More

We found the hotel easily, and it is very well located for sightseeing in Rome. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby too. It is a quirky hotel with lots of character, and the owner Patty is friendly and helpful. Our double ensuite room was spacious, and although simply furnished it was warm and cosy throughout the freezing temperatures... More

The hotel had no AC, which in summer in Rome, is quite awful. This would have been fine, as we knew that when we booked it, but we also could not open the window due to the fact that the hotel is on the first floor be over a popular bar. We heard people talking ALL night, as it is... More

A bit difficult to find the hotel (homestay) after darkness. Building is shared with other homestays and hotel Petros (look for Petros, door bell on the left side for Boccaccio) Otherwise very good location, 10 min to Trevi, 15 min to Spagna. Owner is very nice and friendly. Asked for silent room and my room was perfectly silent and clean.... More

While all the hotels in Rome were booked because of easter and the beautification of the pope, we found this little hotel. Location is excellent, just by the metro, spanish steps and trevi fountain. Patty was very friendly and helpfull. We shared the bathroom with some other rooms, but everything was very clean and we didn't have to wait long... More

I had a short and sweet one night stay at the Hotel Boccaccio. The place was clean, basic and very charming. The little interaction I had with Patty went easily and she was quite helpful. Don't expect anything fancy and you should be quite content. There is no TV or hot water in the room, but everything was well maintained... More

This is a great little eco-friendly hotel. It’s centrally located and only a 5 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. The Spanish Steps, Pantheon and Piazza Navona are all within walking distance. From Roma Termini take Metro Line A to Barbarini. (This is only 2 stops from Roma Termini) or you can walk and that takes only 15-20 minutes. Hotel... More

I wasn't kidding with the title I wrote for my review. This place is more like home. There is no reception, no flashy sign, no electronic rome keys. It's literally like you stay with Patty during your visit in Rome. It might not be for everyone, but for me it's perfect. I have travelled around the world and I always... More
