Stayed 2 nights in March with my wife and we have no complaints. Less than five minute walk from the Metro stop, off the main street. Well worth it versus the more expensive places in same location. No issue with leaving our bags in the foyer on the last day while we went out and caught our train later in... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in April 2013. It was a perfect location with easy access to the Metro, and just a few minutes walk from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Novona. Patty, our host, was lovely and helpful. The room was clean and we did request a room with an en-suite bath, which was nice. The... More

The hotel is just off the main road so may be a bit tricky to find if you don't look it up beforehand. If you email the owner, she'll offer you tips and advice on getting there. The room we had was the huge 12'x15' double bedroom with private bathroom overlooking the internal courtyard area, it was clean and had... More

The hotel is close to the subway that will take you almost anywhere in Rome. It was a very clean hotel, owned by a very nice old lady who was very helpful in directing me when I had questions. When I get back to Rome I will try and stay there again.

The Good: 1) Excellent location. 2) Clean. 3) Very Cheap. The Bad: 1)No AC, so with the windows open it's a bit noisy all night. (I live on a major street in big city, so I'm used to normal city noise.) 2) The bed was pretty hard. 3) Shared bathroom and shower. This is the reason for the two stars... More

" First of all thank you for The Good you have found in our hotel , in case of Bad i would like to say that Hotel Boccaccio is one star and not two ,for this reason you can't find some facilities like AC or more amenities in the bathroom, about the bed "pretty hard" i think that judgement in case... Brilliant location for getting about, a few mins walk from the Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps and only a few metro stops from everywhere else. Shared bathroom/shower always clean and with hot water. A little bit pricy compared to other hotels we've used in Italy but I liked the rickity old lift and the Italian feel of the place. I... More

The location of the hotel is perfect, I went everywhere by foot, and when needed, the Metro station is a block away. My room was very clean and nice, there were a sink, two sets of towels, soap bar, an extra pillow. Maybe providing an extra blanket might be a good idea, because one night it got a bit colder.... The location was the thing that drew us to this hotel as it is very central located just a block from the metro only to stops from the train station. At just under one hundred euro a night for a room with breakfast, no fridge, no bathroom and no view it is expensive for what you get. We only saw... More

It was the worst experience i ever had staying in hotel though im travelling a lot. I am not telling that pictures in websites and reality are two different things, i can live without absence of ac and unclean entrance with smell of shared bathroom. But when we were late to check out 10 mins because we stuck in traffic... More

We stayed at the hotel Boccaccio and have to say that the hotel staff – Patricia - was wonderful. She offered suggestions of where to go, what to see, where to eat and what tours to take. I have to say that their attentiveness and personalities was spot on!!! The hotel room was nice but limited with amenities – no... More
