Not a luxury hotel but a cheap clean, friendly bedroom renting in Rome. The master is a very kind woman, helpful in every need. You can find maps, tourist information and special offers for guests. The place is very central, close to the underground station, in a place full of shops and restaurants. Piccolo hotel economico ricavato da un appartamento... More

We have stayed here many times, and whilst it won't suit everyone we love it..it is situated on the first floor, there is a typical small lift or stairs. It is run by Patricia or Patty to her guests. She has great knowledge of the whole area and is incredibly helpful. Her English is very good.. Whilst a little hard... More

Stayed: September 2013. Super easy to find and Patty was very accommodating and helpful. The room was super and felt very homely. It was a lovely place to rest your head after a long and tiring day trawling the Roman streets and seeing the sites. It was nice to be left to our own devices but Patty was around to... More

I like that is is an eco hotel—recycled paper and limited towel washing. There was no AC, but an oscillating stand fan was provided. The bed was comfortable. The room and attached bathroom were both clean. We were in room 6 which we entered through the balcony and had a nice view of the courtyard. The location is nice—short walk... More

Arrived after a day of travelling in hot humid weather to tiny, dark, no air conditioning, one queen bed, shower with mold on the tiles room! Went downstairs to Hotel De Petris & found much better option!!! Lost my money I paid, but well worth it to move to another hotel! This "hotel" is more like a hostel, bed &... More

Dear Patricia, thank you for spending two minutes to kill years of work. So describing the hotel also has offended your girlfriend whom he preferred to stay at the hotel boccaccio patty More

I enjoyed this hotel because it was comfortable and homey. Patty was very nice and helpful. I didn't spend a lot of time there as there is so much to see in Rome and I was able to walk to everywhere. My pick was spending time in Trastevere - great little markets and shops, wonderful food and churches. I also... More

My 20 year old daughter and I stayed at Hotel Boccacio for 3 nights June 2013. Our room was spacious, the window was huge, the bed was comfortable, and our bathroom was spotless. It was easy to find from the train station- we arrived from Venice. Patty spent quite a bit of time giving us travel recommendations - what day... More

Stayed 2 nights in March with my wife and we have no complaints. Less than five minute walk from the Metro stop, off the main street. Well worth it versus the more expensive places in same location. No issue with leaving our bags in the foyer on the last day while we went out and caught our train later in... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in April 2013. It was a perfect location with easy access to the Metro, and just a few minutes walk from the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, and Piazza Novona. Patty, our host, was lovely and helpful. The room was clean and we did request a room with an en-suite bath, which was nice. The... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
