My wife and I spent stayed here for 4 nights and this place proved to be the worst BB I have ever been to. Its awfully dirty and the staff are so rude. Breakfast is practically non existent. WE found bugs in our bed and by the looks of things the sheets had not been changed. Everything in the room... More

Looking for a hotel suitable for seriously disabled people, we have called this place on Sunday morning and a cleaning lady told us to call back on week-days to speak with somebody from the hotel staff (therefore, nobody is present at the hotel on holidays...) We have called back on Monday morning and we have explained to a lady from... More

It is a charming, homey, clean and quiet hotel, very good located close to the Metro station Policilinico. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with A/C, TV, refrigerator and free Wi-Fi. The hotel staff is great, very friendly and helpful and they really make you feel at home. Davide, the receptionist, answered all our questions and gave us same... More

Hotel is located perfectly on a Metro stop and very close from tram stop. There is a supermarket and a nice little restaurant also very close. A/C is provided and reception is helpful. However you do not get very good interiors, the elevators are 1950s wooden door ones and it does not really feel like a hotel. Ok for people... More

I have never been mad at a hotel before, but we were furious with this place. The hotel is located on the 4th floor of a sort of scary building with graffiti on the outside of it. Upon arrival, you have to buzz the front desk to be let into the building and are greeted by a nice woman who... More

Management response:

Dear Sir/Madam, we are surprised to receive this complain several days after the check-out; at that moment the client didn’t mention any episode written in the review. In return for this unfair and untrue comment we argue that: 1) we assure the cleaning of every single room in the hotel (and the remaining ones) daily; 2) the lobby is always... More

Upon arriving at this hotel our first reaction was we're at the wrong location! It wasn't till we read the sign on the door that we realized the hotel is on the top floor. This could be notified better on the website. The front desk lady didn't speak a word of English, which at first made things difficult. After a... More

It is not easy to find nice and clean hotel in Rome for a reasonable price. Astoria is an excellent choice and I will continue staying there. It's very close to the metro, it provides free Wifi (if you have your own computer, tablet or phone), it has a nice terrace. And for my business trips I need a place... More

A real beautiful experience is not when all is OK! there are many hotels in the world that have the beauty of material construction, but, our stay at the All Comfort Astoria, was made "Perfect" by the human element. It is amazing that one single person (Giulia Fortunato) can make sucha a B-I-G change. Giulia made everyday for us a... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo may look all street with its pulse in urban art and street food, but don’t be fooled. This gritty student neighborhood immediately east of Termini train station is on the avant-garde rise. Art galleries, curated mural projects by artists like Rome’s favorite Alice, charming cafes, and boutique restaurants are slowly infiltrating the streets of San Lorenzo with counter-culture chic. Don’t worry, San Lorenzo still retains its local vibe with weekend festivals and demonstrations, and is always a hub for Rome’s university student scene.
