Everything it's good, just outside Termini Station, what save you money and time, near to the main sites, two showers everyday clean, the room its comfortable, bed is nice, the staff is always ready to help, I have nothing bad to say about it and definitely would recommend for a friend.

This place really deserves the title 'hotel' rather than 'hostel'. It is five minutes from Termini (on the attractive, safe, embassy belt side) so is a perfect location for exploring the city by public transport as well as on foot. Joseph at reception is welcoming and kind, the room (indeed, the whole place) was immaculately clean and comfortable, and while... More

The location of this property is in a very safe neighborhood and very close to Termini station. I also recommend taking a nice walk to the Colosseum and Forum from this location, which is about a 20-30 minute walk down Via Cavour past Santa Maria Maggiore. The staff here are fantastic! They made me feel like I was at home... More

I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone. It is located in a very good spot, very close to the Termini station, and you can easily find your way to the main attractions from this area. Apart from this, the hostel is very clean and quiet, the rooms bathrooms and cleaned every day and towels changed. Breakfast is not included,... More

Located in a great/safe neighborhood, you're within walking distance (15-20 min.) of all the major attractions. If you'd rather metro, the Termini station is 2 minutes away. The receptionist is super friendly and gave phenomenal recommendations on where to go and how to navigate the city. We would have been lost without him. On top of this, this hostel was... More

In the beginning of January 2015 I had the pleasure of staying at this place. It's situated at the second floor of an old Italian building in a nice neighbourhood with nearby bars and nice restaurants. Service was excellent. The staff even helped getting online tickets for the Vatican museum. The room was big, classic and cleaned beautifully everyday. Had... More

Location was good, the hosts were helpful and accommodating, spoke good English, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. 3 rooms shared 2 full bathrooms so there was never any wait. There were lots of restaurants around the area and lots of accommodations in this safe location. Would not hesitate to come back again.

I took a chance on the positive reviews and was really glad we had. The hotel is really near the termini which is so handy if you've flown in to Rome or travelled by train. It seemed a really pleasant area, lots of good restaurants and an easy walk in to the centre to the attractions. The metro was close... More

Great value for money, owns by the nicest family, I've actually started calling them Mamma, Papa, as Italians do. I arrived at night and everything around was closed, I asked for coffee and some milk ,Giuseppe(the father) brought me a pot a whole milk box and everything else I needed(it was 01:00 am),they even brought me a night lamp .I... I work in Rome x4 times a year and ALWAYS stay here. Really close to Termini (on the nice side of Termini in my opinion) it is safe and there are lovely little restaurants around. The staff are super friendly and helpful and I have had late checkins and they have accommodated me. It is clean and you always see... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
