Location was good, the hosts were helpful and accommodating, spoke good English, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. 3 rooms shared 2 full bathrooms so there was never any wait. There were lots of restaurants around the area and lots of accommodations in this safe location. Would not hesitate to come back again.

I took a chance on the positive reviews and was really glad we had. The hotel is really near the termini which is so handy if you've flown in to Rome or travelled by train. It seemed a really pleasant area, lots of good restaurants and an easy walk in to the centre to the attractions. The metro was close... More

Great value for money, owns by the nicest family, I've actually started calling them Mamma, Papa, as Italians do. I arrived at night and everything around was closed, I asked for coffee and some milk ,Giuseppe(the father) brought me a pot a whole milk box and everything else I needed(it was 01:00 am),they even brought me a night lamp .I... I work in Rome x4 times a year and ALWAYS stay here. Really close to Termini (on the nice side of Termini in my opinion) it is safe and there are lovely little restaurants around. The staff are super friendly and helpful and I have had late checkins and they have accommodated me. It is clean and you always see... More

Great little place close to the train station! Super friendly owner, clean rooms, free Internet and great security! Was one of the best places I've stayed in so far this trip (out of 10)! Definitely stay here for a quiet, romantic getaway in Rome or even just a break from hostels if you are young.

At 40 euros, you get a single room + shared bathroom (2 for 4 rooms), 500 metres from Termini station in the heart of town. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and gives you good advice and info, maps etc. Also helped book museum visits. Free wifi, and even a desktop if you are not carrying your tablet/laptop. The... My friend and I spend a week in this B&B and we had a nice time there. The room was perfectly neat, big and well prepared. Shared bathrooms were perfect, they clean them every morning, even the bath curtains! we had two big bathrooms in out floor and was enough, never had to wait. Breakfast is included and is great.... My husband and I were on our backpacking honeymoon and found this place on Trip advisor, close to the train terminal. Great service from Americo, he was always ready to help with any need we had! Room was clean, comfortable, and had AC. It was a bit of a hike to the main attractions in Rome, but we knew this... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
