If you are looking for a place just for sleeping in Rome, this is your BB. But if you are looking for something more in a BB/ hotel.... pick another place. This BB has a great location near Termini station. And it's in walking distance of many restaurants. But the place itself.... I don't even know how to describe it.... More

we stayed there on 21-24 March 2015. all the reviews about this B&B where so good we actually wondered what could be wrong. ok, the location and the price is great but B&B I think means you get breakfast in the morning, but there was nothing than sweet snacks. we were 5 friend and it was hard for us to... everything about this B&B was great. It was more than I expected.Near to everything and only 1 block away from train station.I cannot say enough about friendly staff and room ready both times we arrived. It would be my first choice if I went to Rome again

I stayed at Giovy B&B approximately four years ago and had a very different experience (see review posted in 2010). The experience this time was completely different, from our arrival. It was confusing getting in this time, with no response at the buzzer- eventually when we got in we were greeted by a fairly friendly man, who spoke very little... More

I guess one thing good about this hotel is its location. Walking distance to the train station. It is also easy to walk to several tourist attractions though walk can be 20 to 30 minutes. It is rather quite clean as well but I think the hotel needs a bit of upgrading! Also breakfast was the same everyday and we... More

We went on a budget trip so this worked perfectly. You see a lot of people complaining about how it wasn't what they expected but you cant expect much if you are paying a low price. The rooms were clean and looked after well. The staff were very friendly and helped us more than we expected. it is very close... More

I didn't have super high expectations for this place to begin with, but there were a few things that were a bit difficult. First off, breakfast had a lot of food items, just none that really work for breakfast. The wifi does not reach all rooms and there is no seating area. The owner is not very friendly and does... The B&B was what we wanted for our short stay in Rome. The room was clean and met our needs. The breakfast was reasonable as there was a lot of choice. The location was good for the train station, which is the reason we chose the B&B, but the area around seemed a little bit dodgy in the evenings.

I picked this B and B because of past reviews. I wanted a place where the manager spoke English and could give me some recommendations on where to eat, etc. where there was a "homey" feel. I did not find that here. I think there may be new owners. Minimal English. When I asked for a restaurant recommendation, I was... More

Staying in Esquilino

Neighborhood Profile
Esquilino
Old school vibe from the very beginning is the only way to describe the Esquilino neighborhood. The Esquilino takes pride in being one of the oldest areas in Rome for its key location on one of the city’s famous seven hills. From an ancient neighborhood to its modern incarnation as a multicultural hub, Esquilino always has something going on—polyglot vendors debate street artists while kids play pick-up basketball games. Look around you: this area isn’t like the historic center. Liberty architecture, large piazzas, and long boulevards mix with archaic arches, secret side alleys, and beautiful churches like Santa Maria Maggiore.
