My wife and I booked this hotel to visit Rome. When we arrived, we had to wait till the reception lady was finished with her phone calls and paper work. She first looked amazed when we checked in. She gave us the feeling we were not very welcome. Everything was too much work for her. We booked the superior room... more

The service was very unfriendly and unprofessional. The air conditioning did not work at all! The shower has a high of 1,5 meter (slating position) you will surely bump your head! Very far from the city center. Again.......the service was very unfriendly and unprofessional. more

It is better if you have a car or you use the taxi to arrive the hotel at the evening. Only the meal in the hotel has room for improvement. I am contented. more

This was supposed to be a special birthday trip for my sister. When we arrived we were shown to our room and it was 30 degrees, we were assured that once the air-conditioning started working it would be fine. We went for dinner in the hotel and after some time were brought cold and in particular I was presented with... more

This was supposed to be the venue for a weeks holiday to celebrate a significant birthday. The room we were given had broken air conditioning which we reported to reception as the temperature in room was 30+ degrees celcius. The fix did not work and the managements solution was to advise us to open the windows. This resulted in several... more

After arriving at this hotel which is 7 long kms to rome we were placed in a clean and hip spacious room which was 30 degrees celcius. Having been down to ask about our air conditioning we were assured this was turned on by an extremely rude and unhelpful staff member. We returned to our room after having the worst... more

Just returned from 7 nights in Rome, staying at The Black Hotel, and have to say that we absolutely loved it. The design and interior is modern and well thougtht out, the staff were very friendly and couldnt do enough, the pool was stunning (loved the black mosaic tiles) and the rooms were clean and tidy, and were serviced everyday.... more

We stayed here for 2 nights and have no complaints. Its not cheap but well worth the money. The staff were helpful and polite, the breakfast was really tasty especially the croissants with nutella and doughnuts my 6year old couldnt get enough. There is a free shuttle bus from the hotel into Rome centre 10mins drive away then we got... more

Stayed here for two nights on business. I guess it's meant to be trendy but it doesn't quite manage to pull it off. On the plus side it's not too far from the airport. On the minus side if you are here to see the sites you are a long way from them and I didn't spot a place to... more

We found the staff at Black Hotel to be helpful and accommodating to our requests. Certainly the hotel is clean and the room comfortable. We ate breakfast each morning as well as one dinner at the restaurant and had nothing to complain about. While interesting and stylish, the very modern design of the hotel lacks warmth. In the evening, the... more
