Don't be put off by the exterior, this is a lovely wee hotel. The BUT? I thought I'd booked a room with air conditioning. The room did have aircon, but it was 13 euros a night- or the free ceiling fan... more

The Teti is on the 2nd floor of a 5 storey building, which is not an uncommon arrangement in Rome. Our room, No 1, was small but adequate for our needs, comprising of large bed (2 singles together), dressing table, wardrobe, chair and en-suite. Shower is small but absolutely fine. Breakfast is pastries and rolls but that's what Italians have... more

The room was of adequate size and I was especially pleased to find a small fridge built into the dressing table! This was perfect for keeping milk (and wine) chilled - and it was SILENT so didn't disturb our sleep. There was also a double wardrobe recessed in the room, as well as coat hooks near the door. Inside the... more

Don't be put off by the unprepossessing entrance to the Teti - once you locate it (on the second floor of a multi-use block) you will find a welcoming staff and good basic facilities. You won't be expecting anything luxurious, but the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the water hot, the breakfast adequate and the location (two streets from... more

This hotel is good for back packers and those who are staying in Rome for 1-2 nights and want to stay close to the train station. This is not for a week long stay or a romantic getaway. With that said, the room is a nice size and well maintained. The bathroom is clean on initial appearance but at closer... more

This is a great Hotel for a short stay in Rome or if you are passing through. Don't be put off by the entrance from the road the Teti is clean and adequate for a 2-3 night stay in Rome and is 2 minute walk from the train station (termini). Breakfast is sufficient. The Hotel is on the 2nd floor... more

The Hotel Teti is in a perfect location for touring Rome near Termini and Santa Maria Maggiore, we have stopped in the area a number of times and this hotel whilst being small was more than adequate and of a very good standard at an excellent price. The staff were helpful, the rooms well decorated and cleaned thouroughly - I... more

The room was very small, the bed was far too narrow for comfort (the same width as the pillow) and rather firm. The bathroom was very cramped and there was hardly any room to move in the shower stall, which had mildew on the door. It was quite noisy. Although the double-glazed windows effectively shut out most street noises, I... more

Hotel Teti was a great budget hotel. I was a single female traveller and felt very safe at this hotel. It is clean and the staff are friendly. The decor is nice considering the curtains match the bedspread which showed effort. However, it is noisy. The trolley runs alongside the hotel and there are restaurants on both sides with chairs... more

Stayed three nights in Hotel Teti mid September. Had been warned by a friend that it was very basic but handy for Termini and central enough. Room was very small but clean. Very warm so you would need to get the air conditioning which was E20 per night. Didn't bother with the breakfast but there are a few nice little... more
