We booked through Expedia and were guaranteed late arrival. Due to flight delays we didn't get there until almost midnight and were told they had no room, but rebooked us in another hotel. So my 79 year old mother and I were forced to walk the streets of Rome to find the other hotel, Santa Prassede. It felt cheaper than... More

I found this hotel on this site as it was perfect for my trip(budget, great location & free wifi) I paid in advance for 2 nights for a single room and upon my late arrival I was told that there had been some issues with my room for the first night but that they had booked me into a double... More

A cozy hotel with VERY friendly and helpful staff, convenient location for all major sights. Some rooms ridiculously small, but clean as was the tiny bathroom.......if you were larger than average size you would not fit in the shower! Also , there is nowhere to put anything (eg shampoo) in the cubicle or in the bathroom.

irstly, the location is perfect! Right in the centre of everything we wanted to see in Rome. The Trevi Fountain was a 10-15 minute walk away and the colosseum was a 10 minute walk away in the other direction. Couldn't have suited us more. The Vatican was a 40-50 minute walk away however there are metro stations close by! We... More

I loved staying here. Just got home a few hours ago and wanted to leave a review while fresh in my mind. First off, if you are a high maintenance traveler and looking for the best of the best, then look elsewhere… this is not the place for you. However… if you are an easy going traveler who is looking... More

This is a a horrible hotel! fellow travelers, please DO NOT book in this hotel. We have stayed at Hotel Saturnia for 4 days. From Day 1 - we have notified the front desk that the room smelled sewer and if they can send a plumber, but instead of sending a plumber to fix the issue, they disguised the smell... More

Stayed here for 3 nights in January. We got upgraded to a superior room for free (the standard rooms were full) which we were really happy about. The room was spacious enough, and the superior rooms are newly renovated. The bathroom was big, with a very nice shower (good pressure and spacious) The room was modern, smelt lovely, very clean... Staying in Monti

Neighborhood Profile
Monti
Monti is Rome’s rebel yell. This neighborhood just west of Termini train station mixes grit with fun as it continues to fight for its reputation as a magnet for the artsy, alternative, and hipster. Every season, quirky boutiques and food spots sprout up on its cobblestone streets. The neighborhood supports unique and homegrown businesses that cater to its longtime residents as well as hipsters on the hunt. Hang out at Piazza della Madonna dei Monti anytime after lunch and you'll always find something going on.
