Hotel Maryelen is located minutes from Termini Station providing easy access to the Coliseum, historic Rome, The Vatican and many other sites. The room was basic but very clean. The street was quieter than many Rome streets. The welcome desk staff were extremely courteous, helpful and always accessible. Breakfast was provided to get you started on your day. Free wifi... The Maryelen was clean and convenient to the train station. Staff was very friendly. The down sides were there was no wifi in the room - you had to go down to the lobby. The second was the breakfast. While there was plenty of sweets, there wasn't really much in the way of breakfast. No granola (only kids type cereal)... More

We stayed two nights at this great hotel, close to both Termini and the 'tourist spots'. Excellent service with very knowledgable travel information given from the reception desk. Very accommodating by allowing us to leave our bags locked up all day on day of departure. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed 3 nights on the top floor, rooms are big, very clean, bright with a nice little balcony, tv wasn't working but we didn't need it -there are so many other things to see in Rome plus we don't understand italian anyway- Loredana has very good english, the staff is very nice. Breakfast is lovely. Location is perfect, bus... More

We returned from Rome last week, can't wait to go back, & I wouldn't consider ever staying anywhere else. Hotel Maryelen has everything we'd look for; spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms, great breakfast, a few minutes walk from main train station, central to everywhere we wanted to visit. It's great value for money, too. Most of all, the owners are so friendly... More

Always welcoming; central for touring of Rome on foot, by bus or subway; conveniently located for train travel - 5 minute walk to Stazione Termini. Clean, comfortable rooms, great hospitality and excellent value. Have stayed four years in a row for annual Rome visit, since first discovered. Owners will always go the extra step to make your stay a pleasant... More

With a warm hug from Loredana we were welcomed to this family hotel in Rome, just before Easter. They did everything to make us feel welcome and gave us many tips on where to eat and what to watch out for. The room was simple, but nice and the breakfast gave us a great start every day. It was a... More

3 minute walk from the train station, The hoel does have a lift. (elevator ) Wifi available in the lobby if you have your own laptop or phone. Although the room is on the small side it was immamculate. The hotel is run by a family and the front desk is staffed continuously and they go out of their way... More

Although near Termini and not the most scenic area of Rome, this was a great spot for one night between trains. Loredana and Giovanna were the most accomodating. The rooms were recently updated so it was like staying in a new hotel. The breakfast buffet was basic but met our needs.
