We stayed for 3 nights in November. We arrived on a Wednesday at 3:00 pm. After ring the buzzer for five minutes someone arrived from another property inside and let us in the building. But there was no one at the Imperiale to let us in. We were locked in the vestibule for about a half hour until someone showed... More

I can't say enough good things about the Piccolo Imperiale! The staff was wonderful, the location was great, the room was clean and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay here and I would recommend them to anyone wanting to visit Rome. The young man that worked there over the weekend went out of his way to help me print our... More

The location of the hotel is good. Easy walking to most attractions. The rooms are clean. We stayed for 4 nights and the sky TV (english) did not work. Also the coffee machine did not make cappuccinos at all. The breakfast is a Joke. it is all packaged in plastic and nothing is fresh. Otherwise it is a good budget... More

The location is excellent! I was worried about parking our car in the city, but they were able to reserve a parking spot in an underground garage 2 blocks down, so no problem at all! The area is an upscale part of town within walking distance of many of the Rome attractions. A city bus (line 87) also stops nearby... More

This guest house is situated in a quiet residential area close to the Vatican and only a short walk across the river to some main attractions, the nearest metro is just under a 10 minute walk away. The rooms are basic and nicely decorated but very comfortable. When I go back to Rome I will probably stay here again.

The Guest house was no frills but the staff was very helpful.Location was quite ,about 10 min walk to Vatican City and Castel sant Angelo. From St Peter's church, you can get sightseeing bus tickets from there to all the famous places. Everything was self service so you can have coffee and snacks anytime you like. Just a little bit dispointed... More

This hotel (guest house) is really a good choice if you are looking for something very centrally located and a good value. The room decor was dated, but clean. The bathroom was very small and pretty much in the center of the room so there was not a lot of privacy. The breakfast area was self service with prepackaged snacks,... More

My girlfriend and I recently came to Rome for a graduation trip. I booked this hotel after reading the mostly positive reviews. I must say the staff is awesome! Food was out all times so you could always grab a litle quick bite. It really is a no frills hotel but perfect! Everything was clean and Elena the help was... More

Staying in Prati

Neighborhood Profile
Prati
Just steps away from the chaos of the center, Prati is the closest Rome gets to calm. Meticulously planned in a neat grid, quite unlike neighboring Borgo, Prati is a local favorite for its aesthetic organization and wide streets lined with a range of boutiques for every shopping fantasy. Nonnis pushing baby carriages and gossiping teens own every inch of the sidewalk, but that’s only during business hours. Once the sun sets, quirky sidestreet bars celebrate aperitivo hour, those evening cocktails that help wash away the tensions of Roman life.
