I stayed here with my family in the family suit. Very large and hıgh ceilings. Thıs place is run by a family and they have their hands on their busines, especially guiseppe one of the family member. He is very friendly and positive person that lıkes to help you as a guide of rome. Hotel is located in a great... More

Great welcome from Giuseppe, such a genuine warmth and openness to see the person before him and not just 'a guest'. I felt at home immediately at check-in, never felt rushed (I ask lots of questions and they were all thoroughly answered and with spot-on suggestions). The room was divine, I had booked a standard double but was upgraded to... More

Hotel Golden is a fantsatic hotel in the heart of Rome with wonderful staff. Check in was quick and they provide you with a great map highlighting the quickest way to get to a lot of the attractions. Their restaurant recommendations are great too. Will definitely be back on our next trip to Rome!

The customer service; our room; the Buffet breakfast and the hotel's location were all perfect for our all-too-brief brief visit to Rome. From the moment we entered the hotel lobby where we were very warmly welcomed, we felt so much at home. We hope that we will visit this beautiful city again and when we do we will not consider... I booked this hotel 6 months before our 4 night stay over Christmas. Each review I read continued to be more effusive than the one before. I can only confirm that every one is accurate. Every member of the Loria family was gracious, accommodating and just plain lovely. Yes, the breakfasts were delicious. The location was easy to access by... More

I was delayed in writing my review, but better late than never! We stayed at the Hotel Golden for a few nights, our experience was a positive one and we would stay there again if ever in Rome. The hotel is in a great residential area in Rome, very quiet. Lots of restaurants to chose from close by. Very nice,... More

This was our first trip to Rome and we had a splendid experience, also due to the outstanding hospitality of the family running the hotel. The highlights of the hotel were the extremely helpful touristic advice we received and the delicious breakfast cooked by the mother of the family. Coincidentally, we bumped into some hotel family members when we got... More

We stayed here on a recommendation, and we were not disappointed. It was an ideal location, big, comfortable, modern rooms, and not on a noisy street so we got lots of sleep. Its close to the spanish steps and trevi fountain and loads of good restaurants about. Also a good supermarket one street over. The hospitality of papà Mario, mamma Teresa,... More

I am delayed in writing my summary. I stayed several nights the first week of November and had a fantastic experience. This hotel is located in one of the nicest neighborhoods in Rome. It is family run and they put all of their energy into making sure you have a great experience. If you are looking for great accommodations (quiet,... More

Lovely small hotel located within walking distance of many of the main sites. This is an extremely well run hotel by the Loria family who really work as a professional team. The difference is that they really do seem to care about all their guests and provide a superb level of service, that nowadays is difficult to find in large... More

Staying in Ludovisi / Via Veneto

Neighborhood Profile
Ludovisi / Via Veneto
Thanks to Fellini and La Dolce Vita, the Ludovisi and Via Veneto neighborhood earned its reputation as a posh area where gorgeous Marcellos wooed actresses and models while bored housewives hung out in streetside cafes. The cafes are still there, and so are the cocktails, but the neighborhood is now home to five-star businesses including hotels, banks, law firms, and embassies. The area is also right next to Villa Borghese, a beautiful park for sporting and cultural adventures. If you're looking for tranquility by night, this may be the place: Ludovisi and Veneto tend to shut down after 8pm.
