Drawn by the price and location, we booked a three-night weekend stay at the 3 Coins B&B in mid-May. We received a confirmation email within minutes. Upon arriving at the airport in Rome, we heeded the cautionary advice we read here on TripAdvisor and tried calling the place to confirm yet again. After several failed attempts to get through (they... More

DO NOT stay at this Bed and Breakfast/hotel...worst hotel-related travel experience I have had in over 50 years of traveling. I booked this B&B through Hotels.com. The confirmatnon from Hotels.com specifically said "Thanks for booking with us. You don't need to do anything else - just look forward to your stay." So my two young kids and I travel to... More

I had a really hard time finding the place, and if it wasn't for the help of a nearby shopkeeper, I wouldn’t have. This is basically a door, under a scaffold at the time, unmarked. It is a very old house with a few rooms on the 3rd, 4th and top floors if I’m not mistaken. The place was a... More

Only that the Taxi Driver knew where to find this place we would have assumed we were in the wrong place. The front door was off putting to begin with. We had trouble locating the door bell. The young person who responded was very helpful and assisted us to carry our luggage up the three flights of narrow stairs with... More

My wife & I spent a long while deliberating over the review and rating of this B&B. We have just got back from a long weekend stay in Rome at the 3 Coins B&B and here is how we think it is...i'll also include some really important information for if you have a stay booked in the future. As you... More

What can I say, the only good thing about it was the location. The rooms are tiny and dirty the Air conditioning was broken and asked repeatedly to have it fixed with no result! I spoke to other guests and they all reported the same problems. The staff is really impolite and not at all helpful. the breakfast they offer... More

The location is superb, just minutes from Trevi fountain. That's what you want from a big city like Rome where there is so much to see. The room was actually quite nice and massive! Overall good apart from the breakfast, very poor. Reccomended.

I stayed here on recommendation from a friend and was a little worried after reading the reviews online however, it was brilliant! The location is magic, rooms are clean - yet small - and it's the perfect place to make your 'base' in rome. It's definitely not a luxury hotel and yep a little difficult to find but if you... More

I booked this place for my father and uncle who are aged 55-65 and seeking budget accommodation in Rome for just one night. They said the service wasn't great but location, cleanliness and rooms were excellent. They had a twin room which was spacious with 2 single beds and a double. Be careful if you aren't overly mobile as my... More

Staying in Trevi

Neighborhood Profile
A non-stop photo and souvenir opportunity, Trevi is all about action. From early morning through the wee hours, the piazza surrounding Trevi Fountain hosts a never-ending flow of tourists hoping to make a wish or take a selfie. Clever restaurants, charming gelaterias, uncanny bars, kitsch shops, and a range of hotels make up the local landscape. Beneath the bustle are the remains of an ancient neighborhood that you can visit by heading over to a repertoire cinema and asking for a peek underground. There is something for everyone, but if peace and quiet are what you seek, plan to visit in the early morning hours.
