We recently stayed at the Welcome House for 3 nights and were stoked with our choice! The owner was really welcoming and very helpful from the start with great advice. The room was large and very clean with air conditioning that was really needed in the August heat. Free breakfast was provided each day which was inline with other continental... More

Just returned from a trip to Rome via Venice. We Stayed at the Welcome House and from the moment we stepped inside the hotel area we certainly felt welcomed! The host couldn't be any more helpful if she tried. She showed us to our room and it was all very pleasant. breakfast is self serve however they do provide fresh... More

We loved our stay here in June 2014. Staff is wonderfully accommodating and friendly. Family "suite" was 1 queen and 2 twins in one room, quaint with high ceilings, very clean, nice bathroom with tile shower. Comfortable beds and great air conditioning. Location is central and walking distance to all historical sites, with good restaurants and shopping close. Coffee and... More

The accomodation was fairly good despite the fact that the building is old... The room was very clean and spacious with great heating... All staff members are very helpful and cheerful... The location is absolutely perfect since it is very close to the center... We actually walked to all major sights with ease... Only drawback is that via Nazionale is... More

I stayed in the Welcome House in January 2014, we had such a great time and we couldn't fault it. I was staying with a friend and the room was substantial, (plenty of room for both of our things). The location is ideal, we walked everywhere, the Colosseum is less than twenty minutes walk away, as is the trevi fountain... More

During New Year's Eve, we were for the third time in Rome. The other two times we stayed at Domus Livia ( located in the same building on the 5th floor ), but now I couldn't find rooms available there. So we stayed for 4 nights at Welcome House, located on the 4th floor . We have had the opportunity... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Welcome House while in Rome and really enjoyed our time here. The staff are very helpful and cheery. On several occasions they took time to draw out our route to various destinations on a map so we could find our way, and also gave great recommendations for faster travel, good restaurants in the area,... The location is good, very close to the termini station. The staff at reception is very good. But the building is very old. The bed and furniture are old as well. Yes, they clean room and make bed everyday, but they don't change the bed sheet everyday. We stayed there 3 nights. The sheet is very dirty at the end.... More

Very nice hotel, friendly staff and clean rooms. Hotel is also in center of city, only few minutes walk away from colosseum and all other sight sees. Metro's main station for all metro lines, Bus and Train station are also near if required, but you don't need those often from this hotel. This hotel might not be luxury hotel, but... More

Decent place, short walk from Roma Termini, lots of restaurants and gelato places and a supermarket one block away. One morning while I was in the shower electricity was cut off (to many units not just ours) and it was 100% dark! Above the mini fridge there probably was a stove in the past (the rangehood is still there). Whatever... More
