We stayed at the Hosianum Palace for 4 nights at the end of July and after reading the reviews on here really weren't expecting much. What a surprise it turned out to be! The hotel is hidden up a side street in what probably isnt the prettiest neighbourhood of Rome but it couldn't be better situated for all the attractions... More

The pros and cons really cancel themselves out into a nice average "meh". The room was nice and big, but the bed felt like I was sleeping on an old sidewalk. Pretty sure the mattress bruised my ribs. The location was alright, but the immediate neighborhood was pretty bland. The breakfast was lovely, but there's no wifi anywhere in the... More

Stayed here for 4 nights on a city break to Rome for the first time. The hotel lacks the wow factor (but then again if you're looking at it then you're hardly after 5* luxury) but is perfectly decent place to stay for a few nights while you visit Rome. The location is excellent, located on a quiet street just... More

We stayed for two nights to see the sights in Rome before departing on a cruise. We chose this hotel based on its location - a 10 min walk in any direction and you hit a landmark (Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, etc.). Also close to the bus stop for the #64 or #62 which will take you to the Vatican.... More

Excellent location just off Piazza Venezia and short walk to most major sites. Good breakfast but shame roof terrace was closed due to rain. Thin walls but most guests not disruptive. Would stay again.

My husband and I stayed 6 nights at this lovely hotel. We were able to walk to almost every site such as Trevi Fountain, The Colosseum, Pantheon, Roman Forum, Spanish Streps and many more. The staff was very friendly and the rooftop garden is beautiful! The breakfast was a wonderful surprise. It was not your normal small hotel spread. The... More

Rating this hotel very good probably wouldn't be accurate, it is between average and very good. Small rooms, no wifi, and static air conditioning. The staff were friendly, they sort of rushed you through checkin/out. However it is in good position for site seeing, but sightly longer walks to find restaurants and the evening. In comparison to other hotels we... More

Where the heck is this a 4 star hotel!!! We were so disappointed that our stay in Rome was hampered by this horrible hotel and room. I was ready to move to another hotel in that instant but when I checked, most of the hotels were already sold out. We truly hated having to come back here after our days... More

This is in one of the best areas, near Piazza Venezia with the real Roma on your doorstep. The single rooms are tiny which is okay in a busy city but also a little dingy. The double rooms are nice. It's on a lane so you can hear Rome but it's not too noisy. However, as other reviewers have mentioned... More

Just back from a week in Rome at this hotel. It was a perfect location in a quiet street of the main thoroughfares. Easy stroll to all Pantheon, Coliseum, Forum, Trevi Fountain, Piazza. Navonne etc. CocktaIls on the roof terrace in the evenings and ask to take your breakfast there in the mornings. Friendly staff and good choice of local... More
